After the Arizona Governor elections spilled-over a week after the fact, Democratic candidate Katie Hobbs is reported to be the winner, defeating Republican Kari Lake.
Democracy is worth the wait.
This was not just about an election — it was about moving this state forward and facing the challenges of our generation.

Hobbs wrote on social media after the results were called by several mainstream outlets
‘As Arizona’s 24th governor, Hobbs will be the fifth female to hold the top elected office, more than in any other state,’ AZ Central reported.
However, on October 28th The WinePress reported on a local Fox station in Arizona that flashed a graphic on the screen that Hobbs had narrowly defeated Lake. This of course drew plenty of criticism from people on social media, including Lake, but the station and others, including other journalists, tried to downplay this and say these were just graphics arbitrarily provided to them courtesy of the Associated Press:

I could care less about this vain and moot election to begin with – especially considering it is not even my state – but I wanted to follow-up on this since the media put up those rigged election numbers days in advance.
Once again, the proof is in the pudding: it’s all rigged, it’s a joke, it’s a waste of time. Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Green, Independent, makes no difference: if the powers at be want or don’t someone in, they won’t allow it.
It is enough that people know that there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.
I consider it completely unimportant who in the party will vote, or how; but what is extraordinarily important is this – who will count the votes, and how.

On voting day last week, I didn’t step one foot in the booths and I went to work and tended to my business.
I learned the hard way that voting is all a rigged racket, stupid me, but now I’m a little bit wiser.
I could imagine a scenario where voting WOULD be worth it, 110%, Andrew, but you know this will NEVER happen! This would be if we went BACK to paper ballots and hand counted EVERY ballot and made SURE those voting were 100% legal and clear to do so. I’m talking election monitors and police or whomever, but even still, if they’re on the take or slanted “left” or “right”, then yeah…I could STILL see having a problem here!
