Just when the political bread and circus ballyhoo in the United States couldn’t get even crazier and out of control, something like this happens: Democratic State Representative Anthony “Tony” DeLuca was recently elected in the state of Pennsylvania; only problem is is that he died an entire month ago. He was 85.

‘DeLuca was Pennsylvania’s longest-serving state rep, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette,’ says Fox 29 News.

The Pennsylvania House Democratic Caucus wrote in a statement on October 9th, the day that DeLuca passed: “after a brief battle with lymphoma, a disease he twice previously beat.”

Howbeit though, this did not stop the Pennsylvanian government from removing his name from the ballot, neither did it stop voters from electing him again, even though the man died almost exactly one month prior.

And he didn’t just win: he blew out the competition by roughly 85%, according to The Guardian.

While we’re incredibly saddened by the loss of Representative Tony DeLuca, we are proud to see the voters to continue to show their confidence in him and his commitment to Democratic values by re-electing him posthumously. A special election will follow soon.

Pennsylvania House Democrats said in a tweet.

Charlie Wolfson, a local reporter in Pennsylvania formerly worked for The Boston Globe, also made the announcement on Twitter:

AP calls HD32 race for Tony DeLuca. DeLuca died in October, and there will be a special election to fill this seat.

Some folks commenting that the voters here were oblivious. Some certainly were. But for others, they likely preferred the idea of a special election over electing the third-party candidate on the ballot

We’ve got three special elections coming our way in Allegheny Co, all of them safe Dem seats. Summer Lee will resign to join Congress, Austin Davis will resign to become lt. gov., and the DeLuca seat. Reminder: Candidates are nominated by party committees, not by primaries

One of DeLuca’s opponents was Queonia “Zarah” Livingston from the Green Party, who campaigned on three core issues: “environmental justice,” “ending the war on drugs,” and “reducing gun violence,” according to her website; received 14% of the votes.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

Jeremiah 4:22

‘Sottish’ is another word “stupid and inept.” The Lord is saying the people are stupid: and we can clearly see that on display here again.

Just two days ago on election day I wrote a piece talking about how a transsexual Satanist and anarchist, whose campaign was “F*** the Police,” won the GOP primary nomination; because all the fickle, braindead imbeciles voted him in without even so much as doing any kind of research, but even managed to double his votes in the final election.

Remember When A Transexual Satanist Whose Slogan Was ‘F*** The Police’ Won GOP Nomination For New Hampshire County Sheriff?

And so now something like that has just happened again: the stupid idiots in Pennsylvania, the vast majority of them, went out and blindly voted for this guy because he had a “D” next to his name.

Indeed, this is a clown show!

Once again other nations abroad have more reasons to laugh America to scorn, and as they boast themselves, lying in wait to wipe us off the map and see our end…

[14] Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment. [15] All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth? [16] All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it. [17] The LORD hath done that which he had devised; he hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old: he hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and he hath caused thine enemy to rejoice over thee, he hath set up the horn of thine adversaries.

Lamentations 2:14-17

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
