Google’s YouTube will now be adding a verification banner under some channels and videos who certify with the platform, that they are a licensed and recognized medical practitioner.

According to the official YouTube Blog:

For the first time, certain categories of healthcare professionals and health information providers can apply to make their channels eligible for our health product features

When it comes to our health, people trust healthcare professionals to give us the best advice. But the opportunity that healthcare professionals have to inform and educate their patients largely stops at the clinic door. The reality is that the majority of healthcare decisions are made outside the doctor’s office, in the everyday lives of our patients.

That’s why YouTube Health has been working on additional ways to help doctors, nurses, mental health professionals and healthcare information providers to bring high quality health information into the spaces that people visit throughout their day – like their favorite video-sharing app.

Today, we’re announcing that for the first time, certain categories of healthcare professionals and health information providers can apply to make their channels eligible for our health product features that were launched in the US last year. This includes health source information panels that help viewers identify videos from authoritative sources and health content shelves that highlight videos from these sources when you search for health topics, so people can more easily navigate and evaluate health information online.

Up until now, these features have only been available to organizations such as educational institutions, public health departments, hospitals and government entities. This new step will allow us to expand to include high quality information from a wider group of healthcare channels.

Applicants must have proof of their license, follow best practices for health information sharing as set out by the Council of Medical Specialty Societies, the National Academy of Medicine and the World Health Organization, and have a channel in good standing on YouTube. Full details on eligibility requirements are here.

All channels that apply will be reviewed against these guidelines, and the license of the applying healthcare professional will be verified. In the coming months, eligible channels that have applied through this process will be given a health source information panel that identifies them as a licensed healthcare professional and their videos will appear in relevant search results in health content shelves. Health creators in the US can apply starting October 27th at health.youtube, and we’ll continue to expand availability to other markets and additional medical specialties in the future.

This is a big step towards helping people more easily find and connect with content that comes from the extraordinary community of healthcare creators on YouTube – the smart, dedicated and creative folks who are transforming the ways that we share medical information. Whether you have busted medical myths with Doctor Mike, learned about disease processes from Osmosis, found ways to cope with anxiety with Dr. Ali Mattu or better understood fertility from Dr. Natalie Crawford, there are communities on YouTube that are helping people become more informed, engaged and empowered about their health.

Effective communication is at the heart of improving people’s health, and we’re excited for this next phase in our work to connect people with highly authoritative health information that is both evidence-based and culturally relevant.

This move comes after YouTube has continued to crackdown on “medical misinformation,” according to Garth Graham, a cardiologist and former US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Health – who is now heading this new venture with YouTube – in an interview with The Verge last month.

I think that we need to be tackling medical misinformation by either removing or reducing what’s seen. But people still have questions and look for answers.

So you have to make sure you have an adequate supply of information that allows people to engage appropriately.

Graham said in early October

In September The WinePress YouTube was terminated for “medical misinformation,” even though the videos that triggered the deletion were up for two years without any issues.

The WP also reported in October that an executive for the United Nations openly said that the UN partnered with social media apps like Tik Tok to artificially promote medical-based creators that aligned with their agendas.

We had another trusted messenger project which was called Team Halo, where we trained scientists around the world and some doctors on Tik-Tok, and we had Tik-Tok working with us,

And these scientists who virtually had no following to start with, got ‘verified ticks.’ They started bringing people in their community into their labs, into their offices, and answering their questions and engaging with them.

It really took off, and many of them became like national media go-to advisors. […] So it was a layered deployment of ideas and tactics […]

People need to be inoculated themselves, and I think social media took off so quickly, that, I think people of all ages are very ill-equipped, especially in times of crisis when they’re feeling very engaged with what’s out there, and searching, and wanting to help, and wanting to share – really learning actually how to spot mis and disinformation, and how not to be part of the problem.

As indicated by YouTube, they are artificially propping up the bootlickers, order followers, useful idiots, and controlled opposition stooges; acting as a proxy to deter the simple-minded from not watching a medical video without the new banner and verification.

As I have explained before, as a basic and general rule of thumb: be weary and extra cautious about a pundit or content creator with a “checkmark” and “verified” symbol next to their name. Not 100% of the time but it something to take note of, considering YT’s recent moves and the UN’s admissions.

And though YT did not say it here, for obvious reasons, you know that the shadow-banning will get even worse now…

[12] For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them; [13] In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. [14] And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. [15] Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.

Isaiah 59:12-15

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • I would say the Lord is allowing the wicked to be further deceived before their ultimate destruction cometh.

    Ezekiel 14:9
“And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.”

    King James Version (KJV)

  • I believe the death shot mandate is lifted for private sector workers in NYC, but its still in effect for public sector.

  • Of course Youtube would double down on their vaccine fanboyisim, propagating the “Miracles” of their little pet medical procedure all the while propping up those who sing praise to the “almighty vax” and excommunicating those who dare speak out about the little devil jabs they call Vaccination.

Of course basic common sense would tell one not to trust vaccines blindly, and a deep study on the issue would reveal not to trust it at all, but people would rather “Listen to the doc” than think critically for themselves. Of course finding one who is truly wise in medical information is very prudent, but unfortunately there is a serious lack of good elders all around in this nation, and the medical field is no exception. “Talk to your doctor?” Oh, you mean talk to some millennial or Baby boomer who signed up only for the money and snored through the class, barely making it by or cheating to get the top scores? No thanks, I’m going to seek out someone who actually knows what they are doing and isn’t going into the medical field for filthy lucre, but rather to earnestly heal the sick.
