On October 20th the outlet published a headline titled “The Great People Shortage is coming — and it’s going to cause global economic chaos,” written by Sebastian Dettmers, who is the CEO of StepStone.
StepStone is one of the world’s leading next generation recruitment platforms. Through our AI-powered hiring platform and smart autonomous matching technologies we aim to disrupt the way talent and all-sized businesses connect.
Dettmers predicts that roughly within the next 40 years the world population is set to lose several billions of people.
The article seems to paint this sobering warning in almost a good and “common knowledge” of sorts, but laments about the financial devastation that lies ahead.
The post begins by noting that the world is on the cusp of officially registering 8 billion souls alive on this planet, but that this “population bomb,” Dettmers calls it, has been seen by some as “an extraordinary difficulty to the eco-friendly balance of our world.” Insider also referred to over a third of anonymous Nobel laureates who felt that overpopulation is a “risk.”
But Dettmers compounds on that statement by writing, “And there is no doubt that slowing population development is a crucial tool to fight the environment crisis.”
Nevertheless, he gives their reason the world population is in for a large haircut of billions of people:
It will not be an infection, a war, or a natural catastrophe that will trigger this population decrease. Rather, it will be a boost in living requirements. Development in living requirements given that the birth of the Industrial Transformation has actually been accompanied not just by increasing life span, however likewise by falling birth rates.
Individuals are healthier, richer, much better informed, living longer, and having less kids. As an outcome, the variety of kids born in abundant nations like the United States, in Europe, and China is not adequate any longer to keep those populations steady. However this decline in humankind is not a factor to cheer, however rather a looming catastrophe for our economy.
The terrific labor scarcity brought on by the decreasing population will maim our worldwide economy unless we discover ingenious methods to keep things running.
Insider notes how country’s population growth were already beginning to slowdown by 2020, and how the birthrate is not keeping up with the “baseline” level to sustain where they currently are at.
Moreover, the number of working-age peoples are congruent with the downward slope of global birth rates.
Reflecting on this data and more, Insider says in part, “By the end of this century, the worldwide population will have reduced by 1 billion individuals from its peak, according to a 2020 analysis by scientists at the Gates Structure, and in the most severe circumstance, the population might decrease by nearly 2 billion from where it is today, to simply over 6 billion.”
But Dettmers calls this is a good thing:
While an international population drop is excellent news for the world, it will be a big difficulty for our financial and social systems. The most essential fuel of financial development in the previous numerous centuries has actually been individuals. And with less individuals, less work can get done.
Insider explains how the world is already beginning to feel the effects of this labor sacristy in nearly all sectors, as with the output of those who do work currently – which is forecast to decline as well, coinciding with the decline in the population itself. And with the population dropping as well it only means that the velocity of money will only decline even more and “diminish.”
Skipping past some of the other statistics and suggestions, Insider concludes by explaining what the future will be to counteract a dying population and able-bodied workforce: robotics and more ‘climate-friendly’ infrastructures.
If history has actually taught us anything, it’s that development is constantly accompanied by modification and the guts to attempt something brand-new.
To fight the coming population bust, the world will require absolutely nothing less than a transformation of our minds. We require development and originalities: robotics and expert system that do our work for us and let everybody get the opportunity for excellent education and training.
Along the method, we will need to discover options to make this ongoing development environment neutral by purchasing sustainable-energy production and low-emission innovations. By doing so, we will make a much better world for our kids.
But perhaps Dettmers’ forecast may come sooner than he said it would.
In an essay published by the World Economic Forum prior to 2020, the WEF forecast that people would “own nothing and be happy,” living in smart cities and being serviced by robots by the year 2030 – echoing some of the very same sentiment Dettmer shares.
Shopping? I can’t really remember what that is. For most of us, it has been turned into choosing things to use. Sometimes I find this fun, and sometimes I just want the algorithm to do it for me. It knows my taste better than I do by now.
When AI and robots took over so much of our work, we suddenly had time to eat well, sleep well and spend time with other people. The concept of rush hour makes no sense anymore, since the work that we do can be done at any time. I don’t really know if I would call it work anymore. It is more like thinking-time, creation-time and development-time.
For a while, everything was turned into entertainment and people did not want to bother themselves with difficult issues. It was only at the last minute that we found out how to use all these new technologies for better purposes than just killing time.
All in all, it is a good life. Much better than the path we were on, where it became so clear that we could not continue with the same model of growth. We had all these terrible things happening: lifestyle diseases, climate change, the refugee crisis, environmental degradation, completely congested cities, water pollution, air pollution, social unrest and unemployment. We lost way too many people before we realised that we could do things differently.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY
Every prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his folly.
Proverbs 13:16
What once used to be called “conspiracy theory” is now being publicized more and more regularly as if it is some sort of a ‘necessary formality.’ In other words, predictive programming: they are priming the masses to accept mass deaths coming MUCH sooner than this 40-year timeframe.
Not only that, people are far LESS healthier; they are broke save the ever-increasing 1%; “deceiving and being deceived” (2 Timothy 3:13; and are only living longer because they are strung out like zombies with all these drugs, turning them into perpetual patients. The gaslighting by this is guy is immense, but he knows full well and good what is going on behind the scenes…
And yet the masses continually do not notice or care: they continue to come back for more bread and circuses.
Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.
Proverbs 19:20
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

The only thing excellent about it is God’s judgement is coming to fruition and the vile heathens false christians and Catholics are being stomped out like the grapes of wrath that they are.
These foolish Americans either don’t notice or care they don’t notice because they don’t care most of them not all of them, because they either wanna get home to sit in front of the mind control idiot machine (the TV) and watch Wheel of Fortune and American Idol etc., or they want to sit in their man caves (oversized toy rooms for men that never grew up) and watch football – of all the idols in America, football and NFL sports in general are the biggest.
If you were to ask me who won the play offs I’d be super clueless and ask “what’s a play offs?” I’m so sick and tired of the football idolatry, football is so boring I could puke! I take a gander at a football game and if I stare at it any longer I’ll get a migraine and motion sickness. Super bowl? I’ll get my spoon, must be a super big bowl of chili lol.
There are many false Christians. Natural affection & brotherly love, true tolerance & compassion as Jude describes are perverted or absolutely gone, & the spirit that now reigns over the children of disobedience & pride & self-righteousness sees to it that true biblical Christian influence is censored & manipulated to misrepresent the whole. What will it be like when it is utterly removed, & so many proud who don’t know how to weep with Christ, & to truly share in his suffering in hope, are left to go into that terrible, terrible time?
–
He said, ‘our children’…. apparently they don’t plan on being amongst those so wealthy, healthy and ‘informed’ as to cancel themselves? The Lord has quite a surprise in store for all of these, & knows how to humble the proud.
Haha, seeing the proud get humbled the hard way will be a sight required to be beheld!
These staunch, austere, arrogant, bigoted and religious devils and hirelings will lose everything and be reduced to a husk, and it’s going to be beautiful! Their “prominent well-respected positions” will be snuffed out like cigarette butts and it will be beautiful!
No more power of pride, they’ll find out their pride is as powerful as a piece of rubber!
As if enough Millennials weren’t killed off by Abortion now the elites want more of a population drop. Still, my generation has become so wicked at this point that I don’t care if the Lord wipes most of us millennials off the map. Be nice if my generation had a revival, but we’d need something like the Rapture to wake up my generation, and most probably would find some excuse to find pleasure in unrighteousness.
And besides, most people in the older generations fear a millennial revival, or at least an awakening to the wickedness done to the millennials. Why? Because it’d expose the older generations for the frauds they were, and because they’d also be striped of all recognition, power, and authority. Who’d want leaders who tried to murder them? Who tried to deceive them, who drew them into wickedness like a bee drawn to flowers?
