Bill Gates Says It’s ‘Good’ That Europe Is In The Midst Of An Energy Crisis, As It Will Force People To Accept Climate Goals Faster

While people in Europe face the prospect of not being able to afford to heat their homes this winter, and experiencing freezing dark blackouts, Bill Gates declared that “in the long run” the energy crisis is a “good” thing.

Touting his Breakthrough Energy Ventures climate-technology (carbon tax) investment company, Gates told CNBC “People did get a little optimistic about how quickly the transition could be done.”

Without the Russian natural gas being available in Europe… it’s a setback.

We need to find non Russian hydrocarbon sources to substitute for those so there’s coal plants running and variety of things, because, you know, keeping, you know, people warm, keeping those economies in decent shape is a priority

Now, on the other hand, it’s good for the long run, because people won’t want to be dependent on Russian natural gas so they’ll move to these new approaches more rapidly.

Gates published a “State of the Energy Transition,” Tuesday, declaring that it should be the responsibility of countries such as the United States which have prospered from burning fossil fuels to move to completely decarbonize all sectors of the economy.

He writes,

Many countries in Europe and North America filled the atmosphere with carbon to achieve prosperity, and it is both unrealistic and unfair to expect everyone else to forgo a more comfortable life because that carbon turned out to change the climate.

I don’t think the market by itself can press reset on an entire economy in just a few decades.

We need a plan to speed the process up.

Last month The WinePress reported that United Nations’ Acting High Commissioner for Human Rights Nada Al-Nashif, reaffirmed the need for European nations to endure these cold winters ahead as to stay on track with these climate goals – to which Putin and Russia have mocked and teased that Europe is willing to freeze themselves for a vain and misplaced cause.

The Covid War, beyond the obvious plans for depopulation and reduced births, was also designed to solely to crush the remaining middle class, make everyone permanent debt slaves in a new feudal fascist-communist system, reduce everyone’s travel and autonomy, isolate them, introduce all new invasive technologies, move away from cash and physical tender, and so on – this Russia-Ukraine thing is only designed to usher in increased famine and energy problems, thereby further draining the consumer, reducing their movement and actions, and increasing their dependency on the government and digital tracking systems.

In other words, climate lockdowns. This oppression will continue and push the people beyond the breaking point, to which all the world governments will offer up their “final solution,” regardless if it is a conservative or liberal pretending to the run the show.
