A professor at the Roman Catholic University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, is behind the crosshairs for encouraging students to seek her help and attention if they want an abortion, and openly blasts her own administrative staff, cohorts, students, and community members for not accepting her viewpoint.

Global Affairs Professor Tamara Kay, as reported by WSBT 22, was also plastering posters and flyers on and around her office promoting this “safe space.”

WSBT 22 reported,

The sign also provides Kay’s “non ND” email, where students can reach her, and a capital letter “J,” which, according to student newspaper the Irish Rover, denotes professors on-campus willing to help students obtain access to abortion care.

According to the Rover, such professors offer help in obtaining Plan B “morning after” pills and Plan C “abortion” pills, which are supposed to work up to 12 weeks into a woman’s pregnancy. The pills are legal in Indiana but not offered by Notre Dame’s student health services, the Rover pointed out.

Kay’s social media pages are also rife with efforts to help women find access to abortions. She reportedly told the Rover she is aware her views on abortion run afoul of Catholic Church teaching; however, Kay noted during a “Post-Roe America” panel discussion last month, that her promotion of abortion has been cleared by the university because she is doing it in her capacity as a private citizen.

Student-led newspaper The Irish Rover, a more conservative and “trad-Cat” outlet reported on more of these exploits and posturing by this professor:

“For me, abortion is a policy issue. And yes, my view runs afoul of Church teaching, but in other areas, my positions are perfectly aligned [with the Church],” Prof. Tamara Kay of the Keough School of Global Affairs told the Rover following the September 21 panel, “Post-Roe America: Making Intersectional Feminist Sense of Abortion Bans.”

Kay used this panel as a platform to explain why she thought abortion bans are ineffective and immoral, complementing her work to bring abortion to Notre Dame students. Her initiatives began after Indiana S.B.1—a law that banned abortion statewide—took effect September 15. She has continued since the law was suspended via injunction by a state judge while litigation takes place

[…]

Despite this initial public stance detailed above, in the weeks since the panel and the above-cited social media posts, Kay has changed her positioning on the issue.

Even initially, she claimed to be acting as a private citizen rather than in her capacity as a professor, but Kay further dissociated her Twitter account from Notre Dame during the week of September 26, changing her Twitter name to “Dr. Tamara Kay — Abortion Rights & Policy Scholar,” with her Twitter bio noting, “I don’t speak for my employer (duh!).” Furthermore, the signs on her office door were removed, and all tweets directly referencing abortions for students were deleted.

Emails sent to her Notre Dame email at this time receive the auto-generated response,

Dear Friends and Colleagues, Notre Dame police are monitoring and curating this email account so it may take a bit longer than normal for me to get back to you.

Apparently, white nationalist Catholic hate groups are not happy with my academic work on reproductive health, rights, and justice. But ND supports my academic freedom, so if you are interested, check out my website below. Have a wonderful day!

Since initially removing the above-cited tweets, Kay has continued posting about abortion—for instance, noting on October 3, “World Health Organization policy: ‘WHO recommends that individuals in the first trimester (up to 12 weeks pregnant) can self-administer mifepristone & misoprostol medication without direct supervision of a health-care provider,’” among other posts.

Several members of the University of Notre Dame legal team were contacted regarding the legality of Professor Kay’s actions, none of whom responded.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

For those that are not overly familiar with The WinePress, the office is located roughly 9 miles from the campus, and have been on the campus plenty of times in the past, and now plenty of friends and acquaintances that go there or have gone there. But that’s besides the point.

But thine eyes and thine heart are not but for thy covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.

Jeremiah 22:17

This type of rhetoric and nonsense is by no means anything new. Traditional Roman Catholicism is blasphemous on its own to begin with for a litany of reasons, but Notre Dame, one of the largest Catholic colleges in the world, is SUPER progressive and woke. The Irish Rover reports on a ton of the progressiveness there, as has Campus Reform. A decent chunk of the students are not even Catholic.

The university is abominable from top to bottom. This trailer ND put out in 2019 says all that needs to be said:

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • I wouldn’t walk into that cursed, confounded Great Whore of Babylon brainwashing institute if I was paid a million dollars, offered partial ownership and passive income with and from Notre Dame, and given the key to South Bend by the mayor himself!

Just a bunch of woke, Christ-rejecting, some Catholic, others false professing christians, other who knows, know-it-all pseudo intellectual idiots, and their so-called intellectual talk is about as impacting as squeezing a squeaky toy!

So thankful I left college and Phi Theta Kappa. All of the alumni of PTK and other “honors” groups before me, they wind up living a dead end life between working two part time jobs and drowning in debt, and then they wind up badly aged and frail needing round the clock nursing care, crippled and bedridden, and eventually if not already, dead and in Hell, and their phony education and honors fade away and are long forgotten about and gone like the 20th century.

    Jacob,

Here’s a “christian” university that I would LOVE IT if you exposed it, if you have time: it’s called Oliver Nazarene University, I first saw them advertised on Christianity Today (Billy Goat Graham’s magazine, say no more) at that (ahem) “christian” university they have events where the students are running across campus NAKED! For obvious reasons, I won’t share the video nor would I recommend checking it out. But you can check out other videos of them on YouTube and I’ll even share a couple with ya as well even.

  • I wouldn’t go into that Great Whore of Babylon brainwashing institute if I was paid a million dollars, given fractional shares of the school as passive income, and given the key to South Bend by the mayor himself!

  • Jacob,

One university, it’s a phony christian one too, I recommend you expose and rip apart, it’s called Olivet Nazarene University.

WARNING: some of their videos at ONU, they have events where students run across campus NAKED! For obvious reasons I won’t share nor recommend those, but there’s plenty of other videos exposing how phony they are.

Also, the Assemblies of God Catholic cult seminary, Global University that needs a good ripping apart as well even!

  • It seems to me that the jesuit devils from Fordham University are having a field with this: https://www.cbsnews.com/newyork/video/students-staffers-protest-fordham-universitys-covid-vaccine-mandate/#x
You can check it out on their own website. It’s so funny how these devils push the death shot mandate on others, but they get offended when it is right in their backyard. Those Fordham students, parents, faculty and staff that are protesting the death shot mandate are controlled opposition.

    • Oh for sure, Thomas. And don’t forget, Georgetown university is going to have a field day with this.

Those Jesuit devils hypocritically speak out against abortion while supporting using aborted fetal tissues to create that witchcraft known as vaccines!
