Bill Gates Invests Another $1.27 Billion To Develop Global Digital ID Systems And Health Projects

In effort to stay committed to their earlier pledges, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has dispersed a new round of investments that total roughly $1.27 billion, to further develop and enhance digital ID verification and global health-related infrastructure.

This week has underscored the urgency of the challenges we face, and the promise of sustainable solutions that save and improve lives.

We can get back on track toward the SDGs, but it’s going to take a new level of collaboration and investment from every sector. That’s why our foundation is significantly stepping up our commitment to help confront crises now and ensure long-term impact across critical determinants of health and development.

The last time we gathered in person for Goalkeepers, we talked about how the most well-intentioned programs can perpetuate inequities if the communities they want to reach aren’t involved in the design.

A lot has changed since 2019, but one thing hasn’t: We won’t make progress toward the Global Goals unless those with lived experiences have a seat at the table. Co-chair Melinda French Gates, said

Of this latest package investment, $200 million of this goes to the development of a digital public infrastructure, of that includes databases for digital IDs and civil registry. The allocated funds will also go to supporting interoperable payment systems and data-sharing systems.

This announcement, according to Biometric Update, was accompanied with the sixth annual “Goalkeepers Report,” a statement that gauges the continued progress of meeting the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals. This report acknowledged that ‘by most indicators, the world is well behind the pace needed to achieve them by 2030,’ Biometric Update noted.

More specifically, Gates’ $200M investment attempts to help fulfil goal 16.9: “By 2030, provide legal identity for all, including birth registration,” the UN says.

We see the greatest progress when governments, the private sector, and local communities collaborate in global health programs.

The commitment this week to combat preventable diseases and save millions more lives through the Global Fund replenishment is a great step forward in getting back on track to reach the Sustainable Development Goals.

Biometric Update notes that Gates’ has been a large investor in a company called the Modular Open Source Identity Platform (MOSIP). According to the company’s website,

MOSIP is a robust scalable and inclusive foundational identity platform.

The Modular Open Source Identity Platform (MOSIP) helps Governments and other user organizations implement a digital, foundational identity system in a cost effective way. Nations can use MOSIP freely to build their own identity systems. Being modular in its architecture, MOSIP provides flexibility to countries in how they implement and configure their systems, and helps avoid vendor lock-in.

Anchored at the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B), MOSIP harnesses the power of open source and embraces the best practices of scalability, security and privacy.

[16] And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: [17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. In order for there to be a mark of the beast, a global identification framework must already be in place. The actions of Bill Gates and other companies, while nothing new, are bringing the world closer and closer to this eventuality – AFTER the true church/body of Christ is resurrected from the earth.

It is interesting to note that Biometric Update says these globalists are behind schedule in their goals. Either that is gaslighting or truth, or perhaps both. Either way, once the Western economies all begin to finally collapse, then these systems and more can be thrust upon the masses.
