Tensions between the United States and NATO versus Russia, are at an all-time high now, after what appears to be a deliberate attack and saboteur mission was carried out against Russia’s Nord Stream pipelines, causing both parities to play the blame game – arguments that could escalate rapidly.
In case you have not heard by now, several days ago the Nord Stream pipelines that flow from Russia into Germany were caught on camera to have suffered damage in three locations. The pipelines were not actively pumping natural gas to Germany at the time.
The WinePress reported a few weeks ago that the pipelines were going to be shutdown “indefinitely” due to a reported “mysterious leak” that occurred, while the Russian energy giant Gazprom mocked Europe in a video that depicted the different Western lands frozen over and buried beneath a blizzard.
But as soon as word spread over these leaks, everybody starting firing railing accusations at each other.
Off-Guardian cited some of these early accusations, with the bulk of Western media outlets making the claim that Russia and Putin purposefully sabotaged their own pipeline. Russia of course denies this and says this baseless accusation is “stupid.” And even the former Polish defense minister has boldly stated that NATO forces blew up the pipelines.
Putin in a speech today adamantly blamed the United States for this attack. Unsurprisingly, the Pentagon has denied any involvement, according to Fox News reporter Jennifer Griffin, when she inquired about these explosions.
However, Summit News reasserts evidence that Griffin has already lied about events and actions occurring in Ukraine, which certainly makes her statements even more questionable.
But as Off-Guardian conveys, the backbiting and talebearing is irrelevant to what it will cause. The outlet wrote:
The question – one it seems I keep asking the last two years – is “does it really matter?”
Maybe the Americans blew it up.
Maybe the Russians blew it up.
Maybe someone else blew it up.
Or maybe nobody blew it up, and the entire story is a fabrication.
Whatever the truth may be, the end result remains the same. Gas and electricity will be more expensive. There will be a huge push to turn to “renewables”, talk about “climate catastrophe”, and maybe even be energy rationing and/or blackouts.
People will freeze, starve and probably die this winter. That has always been part of the plan, what reason is there to think this “attack” is anything but more of the same?

Everyone is abuzz with talk of who did what, and asking “Was it sabotage?”
But the simple answer to that is “yes, of course it was.”
No matter the exact specific details of the situation, the Nordstream [sic] explosion was definitely an act of sabotage.
The same sabotage we’ve been seeing for two years.
The sabotage of our entire way of life, by people who would profit both monetarily and politically from a sea-change in the way our society is structured.
The sabotage that leads to faking a pandemic, gutting our healthcare, locking us in our homes and ruining our businesses.
The sabotage of our economy, our society and our very bodies.
The sabotage of us, by them.
Nevertheless, already leaders from NATO are threatening a military response against the anonymous ‘actor’ who carried out this deliberate attack.
National Review began their post by writing, ‘NATO has concluded that the leaks that recently emerged on the Nord Stream pipelines were the result of sabotage by some unknown actor, the military alliance announced in a Thursday statement.’
All currently available information indicates that this is the result of deliberate, reckless, and irresponsible acts of sabotage. We, as Allies, have committed to prepare for, deter and defend against the coercive use of energy and other hybrid tactics by state and non-state actors. Any deliberate attack against Allies’ critical infrastructure would be met with a united and determined response.
The North Atlantic Council, the decision-making body for NATO, said in a statement
We do not know the details of what happened yet, but we can clearly see that it is an act of sabotage. An act that probably marks the next stage in the escalation of this situation in Ukraine.

And speaking of NATO, Ukrainian President Zelensky filmed himself signing paperwork to formally allow Ukraine to be the latest member of NATO. Zelensky spoke of how Ukrainian forces are working to pushback the Russians out of the remaining occupied territories.
Meanwhile, as alluded to earlier, Vladimir Putin on the other hand declared that four annexed territories will “forever” below to Russia. These regions include Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia, signed by the heads of those regions.
ZeroHedge pointed out that Putin’s lengthy speech in many ways came off as a “mission accomplished” statement of sorts, as Putin declared that these regions are now apart of Russia.
They have made their choice […] this is the only path to peace. We will protect our land using all our forces and we will protect their security. We will of course rebuild all destroyed towns and continue building hospitals, theaters, and schools.
Putin said
Furthermore, he once again renewed supplications for peace: “We call on the Kyiv regime to immediately stop hostilities and sit at the negotiating table,” he said, however noting that Russia “won’t negotiate the status of the annexed territories.” Russia will continue its “special operations” in Donetsk until it is fully captured.
On top of all of this, Putin went even further in blasting the U.S. and NATO.
Addressing the Nord Stream drama, Putin unequivocally blamed the U.S. for damaging these pipelines:
They are destroying European energy infrastructure… it’s clear who benefits.
It’s obvious to everyone who did it.
And once again addressing the energy crisis in Europe, Putin blamed European leaders for only hurting themselves.
They print money, but you cannot warm your homes with this printed money… They have to convince their citizens to shower less, eat less, and put on warm clothes.

He even blasted the ideologies and philosophies of the U.S. and the West, and how they are systematically tearing themselves down and attempting to do the same with the rest of the world.

I remember when the Lord was showing me how unwise it was to trust & follow the Reformed, and compromised guys like David Barton, who turned out to be Craft. There was a couple who were high profile in the homeschool movement, the Andreola’s (the Bauer’s were also huge linked with Francis Schaeffer & that whole bunch), and very influential. Christian Book Distributors carried their commentary in ‘classical education’, some of which we used because it’s rigorous, but you can’t trust their history or doctrine which comes creeping in there.

(He also called European elite culture after his ‘grand tour’ common to men of his class in the second half of the nineteenth century ‘perverse’, citing that as a primary reason for ‘Speaking softly, & carrying a big stick’, and for building up the great white fleet….which smacks of dialectic craft influence, sadly. Hezekiah is a type biblically that we should ponder soberly & with humility.) In the excerpt I read,which explained a lot about my misgivings with that Reformed perspective & history, Coffin spoke of a trip out into the American frontier West & being received & treated as ‘gentry’ by a pioneer family. They described those people like they were lower level animals, noting their physical build, facial features, hair type & apparent intellectual capacity, & approvingly found these who hosted them so ‘respectfully’ to be useful to the building of the nation they desired…to be ‘well trained’ and ‘good stock’.

These are just some of the ways that Christians can be influenced living as pilgrims here below, even circumspectly. And we’re not immune to suffering due to the choices and manipulations of the wicked, though we know that Romans 8:28 is true, and the peace of God keeps & preserves us, ever with us & never leaving nor forsaking….even in chastening, which though not pleasant at the time, is nonetheless actually reassuring to the child of God when rightly, biblically, understood. Hebrews 12. We’re not to get too comfortable here, and when we forget & do, he is faithful to rock our world & to wake us up. The issue is whether we pay attention & repent or not, and there are sins that are not damning, & liberty, but many which are surely not convenient & which will bring us grief if we’re willful and careless, ignoring those niggling little misgivings the Lord gives us as we continue in the word & fellowship with him. The Bible speaks of having fellowship with him in his sufferings, not so much of the mountain top & more fleshly pleasant things that the visible Christian world slipped more and more into in recent decades and the last couple centuries. Prosperity is probably the hardest trial of faith and biggest source of potential temptation for the Christian’s faith there is. Just look at the history of Israel we keep repeating.
