“As working from home made strides to a certain extent during the COVID-19 crisis, many people may have come to question whether they need to continue the habit of drinking with colleagues to deepen communication.”

The following report is by Lad Bible:

Japan has kicked off a national contest encouraging young people to drink to help boost the economy.

The New York Times reported after two years of lockdown restrictions, Japan’s National Tax Agency launched its contest calling for 20 to 39-year-olds to share their ideas to boost alcohol consumption.

The agency said they hope the campaign known as ‘Sake Viva’ will help revitalise the alcohol industry.

The National Tax Agency also shared that drinking had become less frequent amongst the younger generation due to the pandemic – something they hope to reverse while prompting alcohol sales.

The tax authority’s campaign website states:

The domestic alcoholic beverage market is shrinking due to demographic changes such as the declining birth rate and ageing population, and lifestyle changes due to the impact of the new coronavirus infection.

According to the agency, Japan’s yearly alcohol consumption had decreased from 100 litres per person in 1995 to 75 litres in 2020.

Inevitably, this has hurt the Japanese economy, with alcohol only attributing to only 1.7 per cent of the tax revenue in 2020, down from three per cent in 2011 and five in 1980, as per Japan Times.

A spokesperson for the agency said at the time:

As working from home made strides to a certain extent during the COVID-19 crisis, many people may have come to question whether they need to continue the habit of drinking with colleagues to deepen communication.

If the ‘new normal’ takes root, that will be an additional headwind for tax revenue.

While the government has assured they will not encourage ‘drinking in excess’, the controversial campaign has attracted a wealth of criticism from the public.

Bartender Suzumo Sakurai slammed the idea as ‘terrible’ via CBS News.

He added:

It’s like trying to get people to smoke more.

Many also took to Twitter to voice their concern as one person slammed the government for its inappropriate message.

One person wrote:

Revenue from alcohol sales is decreasing in Japan, so the government is paying for the ‘Sake Viva!’ campaign to ‘stimulate demand among young people’ to drink alcohol. The younger generation in Japan are just too smart to drink a lot & the government doesn’t like it one bit.

While another said: “Mind-boggling News from Japan.”

The name of this campaign is rather telling: “Snake Viva!” Observe:

[29] Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? [30] They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine. [31] Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. [32] At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder. [33] Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things. [34] Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast. [35] They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.

Proverbs 23:29-35

It is to be noted, for clarification sake, that, the New Testament law of liberty allows for a believer to drink wine and alcoholic beverages, but it is to be done in moderation and temperance, and you are not offend brethren if they are not able to handle it (Romans 14; 1 Corinthians 8, 10; Philippians 4:5) Disregard the liars and their fake piety on the internet, who think they are o-so holy for not drinking wine, but have a deep wellspring of other poisonous sins they care not to tell you about, or in fact make a boast of! Wine has health benefits when had in moderation (1 Timothy 5:23).

With that out of the way – though I often refer to the judgment and destruction that is to befall the Western nations soon enough, Western allies Japan and South Korea are also headed for great destruction. Focusing on Japan, the nation is also on the cusp of total collapse, and reports such as this demonstrate just how far the nation and culture has imploded into wickedness and derision.

[27] Therefore thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Drink ye, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you. [28] And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink. [29] For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the LORD of hosts.

Jeremiah 25:26-29

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • Very intriguing article, Jacob.

Bryan was right on his why losers play video games video: talking about Japan he said Satan has totally destroyed that nation, and he’s on the money with that statement!

Japan is video game and video game addict central, grown men playing video games for passed 10 to 30 hours and they’re over exhausted and they develop blood clots in their legs from sitting down too long and that’s why they fall over dead. I heard of a man in Japan who played video games for…sit down for this one:
    73 HOURS!!!
It’s also so bad that single women in their 20s and 30s they can’t find a man because all they wanna do is play video games, and they’re dying out because they’re not reproducing at a fast enough rate to replace the generations that are dying or dead.

Japan is also infamous for witchcraft and the occult and occult ritual “games” like Play Hide and Seek Alone (it’s not like hide and seek from our childhoods it’s a ritual)

Japan’s national religion is Shintoism, which is satanic to the core.

Japanese animation, anime, is known for being immensely perverted and has occultism in its animation and sexual images as well even.

Don’t forget the evil atrocities Japan has committed during World War II.

  • Just something to add, as I’d heard Bryan pointing out (What About Alcohol and Drunkenness), that agrees with our common sense, natural, real wine that is fermented properly or made the right way is good for our health in moderation.

Unfortunately, most of the wine commonly sold in typical stores are merely slop, tainted, unhealthy wine in my opinion. After all, why stop at faking meats and other things, when they can go all the way? Maybe there are a few good ones in typical stores, not too sure. Haven’t had a drink for many years.

  • When they start saying again, “Ladies and Gentlemen” at online workworks, then I will return, but not until then! Florida is a common sense conservative state where most people have brains! salaryto.com

    • Looks like the bot is glitching, praise the Lord! Mess with God’s true servants the King James Bible believers and there will be some nasty consequences coming.

All of those Roman Catholic inquisitioners who tortured and murdered true believers, they all died horrible deaths, they didn’t just get old and died, oh no, they died horrible deaths – freak accidents, debilitating and crippling diseases that no doctor could treat or even diagnose, and winding up being murdered or committing suicide!

  • It reminds me today I saw this Burger King ad of a burger called “Diablo” here in Japan. I don’t know about other countries, but this just proves that people now a days are so blind to Satan’s devices and influence…
