Prices of beef and special cuts may rise even more as Texan ranchers are being forced to sell portions of the herds, due to continued drought in the Lone Star state.

The WinePress has reported that most parts of the world right now are undergoing some form of dearth and drought, and infestations destroying crops.

Last month CBS News cited footage of a massive line of farmers with trucks and trailers with cattle, waiting outside a livestock market.

I’ve been in the business [for] 60 years and I’ve never seen lines that long.

83-year-old cattle rancher Jack Robinson told Bloomberg

During a normal season, calves weigh up to 600 pounds. [But now,] some of them have been weighing [from] 375 to 450 [pounds] and [we’ve] been selling them.

If we don’t get rain pretty quick, it’s going to be more cows coming to a market. It’s pretty much going to be a disaster.

Anthony Vybiral, a rancher from Central Texas, who has been doing this since the 90s, told KWTX 10

Some of these ranchers are just totally out of grass [and] water. Their backs are against the wall and they don’t have any other option.

Trenton Uptmore added

It’s dry and there’s no hay around. It’s hard to justify keeping them.

Scott Frazier said, who sold roughly 100 cows

Even so, demand for cattle since July has only increased. Natural News succinctly explains, ‘While the cattle sell-off translates to more beef entering the market in the short term, this also translates to less calf-bearing cows in the future. The resulting smaller herds will then push meat prices further up to the detriment of the American consumer.’

At the end of July the USDA published a report that noted how the national size of herds was down 2% year-over-year, at 98.8 million. The beef cattle supply also went down another 2.4% year-over-year: down roughly 750,000 heads from July 2021 to the current 30.35 million heads. ‘Also, the current beef cow inventory has declined by 6.3 percent, or a total of 2.05 million heads. Beef replacement heifers were down by 3.5 percent year-over-year,’ Natural News surmised.

This is the fourth consecutive month of lower feedlot placements. In the past two months, placements have consisted of increased numbers of cattle under 700 pounds with sharper decreases in placements over 700 pounds leading to an overall decline in placements. Placements would have fallen faster without lightweight placements. Increased lightweight placements now mean that fewer cattle will be available for placement later.

Derrell Peel, an agricultural economics professor and specialist in livestock marketing at Oklahoma State University, wrote in the farm journal AGWeb

This will surely cause a ripple effect in the national cattle supply, with Mike Adams on Natural News confirming these findings firsthand. He notes that by 2025 prices will ‘surely skyrocket’ by then, though prices will acutely come down in the prelude to that.

This is happening due to the extended drought affecting Texas, Oklahoma, and much of the southern and western parts of the country. The drought not only reduces grass production in the fields being grazed by cows, but it also causes hay production to plummet, reducing the future food supply that could keep cows fed through the fall and winter.

It takes several years of good rain to replenish cattle populations and bring beef prices back into an affordable range.

Adams explained

Roughly a week and half ago ZeroHedge has reported the sell-off of cattle has not stopped, due to persistent heatwaves and dearth.

Citing a report from The Hill, experts cited foresee a different path from Adams, including ZeroHedge, where they feel prices will only rise in the next few years. ‘The Hill said that the devastating drought and higher cattle operation costs would result in higher beef prices for at least the next two years. And we agree with that assessment as the latest data via USDA shows supermarket prices surged to record highs earlier this year and are quickly approaching the $5 handle,’ ZeroHedge wrote.

The lack of water in general, it’s hurting us all the way around. Any way you can think of.

[But] you’re almost afraid to buy. Cattle drink a lot of water, especially this time of year. With this drought, they’re drinking a lot of water. Cattle are dying because of this. Even the best of cattle are struggling.

Cattle buyer Josh Sturgeon told The Hill

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

The elites puling the strings are elated at this. They are smiling from ear to ear at the news of this. This, not surprisingly, only plays into their schemes to get the masses of eating meats: never-ending inflation and rapidly decreasing sizes of herds will aid in that.

[1] Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; [3] Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

1 Timothy 4:1-3

Though, I have oft warned that I do firmly believe we will see the media launch a zoonotic shamdemic, to justify the mass culling of livestock and wildlife.

Some may say all this famine and dearth is because of cloud-seeding and weather manipulation by these evil scum at the top. At that very well could be true, but whether it is or is not, the Lord is behind it, as he controls, and it still brings his word to pass:

[10] Thus saith the LORD unto this people, Thus have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore the LORD doth not accept them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins. [11] Then said the LORD unto me, Pray not for this people for their good. [12] When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence. [13] Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place. [14] Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart. [15] Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed. [16] And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them, them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters: for I will pour their wickedness upon them.

Jeremiah 14:10-16

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • So much for being the quote end quote “great state of Texas” eh? So much for being quote end quote “Texas strong” huh?

The Lord is fed up to the highest degree and He has had it with your unbridled wanton pride, America – and Texas is definitely no exception! Of all the 48 continental U.S. states, Texas is by far the proudest and frankly, the most stupidest of the states, Texas pride is, if you refer to the book of Exodus, is quite similar to the pride of Egypt, and lieu and behold: one of Egypt’s plagues was the cattle dying of pestilence and now it’s happening in the lone pentagram state!

Jacob, I live in Texas, however my history and bloodlines are Indiana and Missouri.

    • Because it’s, to them at least, symbolic of the lone star state, but it’s a pentagram. It’s a graven image and they have a symbol of witchcraft.
Same thing with that “hook em horns” sign they make with their hands – it’s still a sign of the devil.

Texas is an extremely evil state. Sports idolatry is through the roof, they worship the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans in fact any kind of sport especially football, that’s their god and so is money. Capitalism is idolized as well, just look at how ridiculously huge Houston and Dallas are as well as San Antonio.
Texas is also gluttony central. Food worshipping gluttons, it’s disgusting!

Texas is also a haven for false converts and false teachers as well as lukewarm false converts. TBN and DayStar headquarters are in Dallas. Saturday night sinners and Sunday morning saints flourish in Texas.

God is going to destroy it as well as the rest of America.

  • Actually, folks in Texas have been reporting on both this, & the drought broke for a lot of East Texas ranchers. It’s not blanket gloom and doom yet. This channel reported first person on this, & they are real people, known in a network of different folks. This family fled to Texas 8 years ago & established a small homestead, just recently picking up a few acres where they run longhorn cattle which are especially adapted to the harsh & changeable Texas climate. The boys have been homeschooled all of their lives & just bought some acreage with their own project income near their parents, planning to build from there a Bible Christian & sustainable life. Permaculture etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHxHs0-6HDY
This link is on the drought breaking in their area of East Texas, & there is more on how they & others were hanging on, the different ways of coping, or being forced to sell…and why. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2uK13yS0Fi4&t=6s
