Ignite The Right: Brian Stelter To Leave CNN As Outlet Undergoes Systematic Collapse

NPR, who first broke the news, reported:

Stelter got his start blogging about cable news as a student and went on to become a media reporter for The New York Times. Reliable Sources is the longest-running show on CNN; Stelter has hosted it for the past nine years and celebrated its 30th anniversary in March.

CNN chief Chris Licht informed Stelter of the decision yesterday. Licht has been making cuts throughout the network since taking the helm as part of Warner Bros. Discovery’s takeover of the old Time Warner company. Stelter, who often touted the show’s ratings on Twitter, was among those CNN hosts targeted for frequent criticism from conservatives for his coverage of the media in the Trump years.

Stelter has been the subject of memes and scrutiny the many years he’s worked for CNN. Mark Dice’s effeminate impressions of him are some of the more well-recognized of such mockery.

Moreover, Stelter has been the whipping post and one of the prime poster children for “fake news,” in many conservatives eyes – with CNN, including MSNBC, constantly bickering back and forth with Fox News, the Daily Wire, and others.

Furthermore, similar to Stelter being rebuked by his own guest (see above video), it is more certainly not the first time this has happened to Stelter and CNN.

Moreover, CNN has been on the downward trajectory for sometime, though they did experience a temporary recuperation in viewership in 2020 due to the Covid lockdowns and constant beratement of the virus. But in 2021 and presently, CNN has been tumbling down a sharp cliff as the outlet continues to hemorrhage views each week, and continually losing credibility and authenticity.

Watching Tucker Carlson and Brian Stelter picking on each other is like watching a partly civilized and articulated episode of MTV’s Jersey Shore! That’s American “news” for you: networks day and night accusing each other of who the better liars are.

But I mention Stelter’s exit because not only is CNN’s demise largely due to American’s being sick and tired of CNN’s asinine lies, but their downfall, I believe, is very much deliberate and systematic. This is a means to empower the “right” even more, clearing the field of competition and market share. CNN’s journalists and staff are just pawns and cogs to turn the idiot wheel.
