“What the CDC is, in my opinion, trying to do, they are trying to still be relevant, and maybe when they say something, people will listen to them instead of being completely 180 degrees away from what behavior is anyway.”

The following report is from CNN:

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says the nation should move away from restrictive measures such as quarantines and social distancing and focus on reducing severe disease from Covid-19.

In new guidelines released Thursday, the agency no longer recommends staying at least 6 feet away from other people to reduce the risk of exposure — a shift from guidance that had been in place since the early days of the pandemic.

The shift is a sign of how much has changed since the beginning of the pandemic more than two years ago. Nearly the entire US population has at least some immunity through vaccination, previous infection or, in some cases, both.

The current conditions of this pandemic are very different from those of the last two years.

High levels of population immunity due to vaccination and previous infection and the many available tools to prevent to the general population and protect people at higher risk allow us to focus on protecting people from serious illness from Covid-19.

Said Greta Massetti, branch chief of the Field Epidemiology and Prevention Branch at the CDC, in a news briefing Thursday.

The new CDC guidelines say contact tracing, another hallmark during the pandemic, should be limited to hospitals and certain high-risk group-living situations such as nursing homes, and the guidelines de-emphasize the use of regular testing to screen for Covid-19, except in certain high-risk settings like nursing homes and prisons.

The new guidance also does not advise quarantining people who’ve been exposed to Covid-19 but are not infected.

But the guidance does keep some measures the same. It encourages testing for people with symptoms and their close contacts. It also says people who test positive should stay home for at least five days and wear a mask around others for 10 days. It also continues to recommend that people wear masks indoors in about half the country.

The new guidelines also tailor advice on isolation for people who became very sick from Covid-19. People with moderate symptoms — such as shortness of breath, and those who were hospitalized — should stay at home for at least 10 days. People with compromised immune systems should now talk to their doctor about ending their isolation after an infection.

There’s new advice on what to do if your Covid-19 symptoms rebound, too. If you end your isolation, and your Covid-19 symptoms get worse, you should start your isolation over again and see your doctor.

Trying To Meet People Where They Are

The changes are an acknowledgment that SARS-CoV-2 may be with us for the long haul. They aim to help people live their lives around Covid-19 with minimal disruptions to work and school. They are also more risk-based, advising people who are at higher risk for severe illness to take more personal precautions than others.

I think they just overall come into alignment with what people are doing anyway.

Says Dr. Peter Chin-Hong, an infectious disease specialist at the University of California at San Francisco.

Chin-Hong thinks some states, like California, will continue to go beyond the CDC’s guidance in their own recommendations, but by and large, he thinks these reflect the prevailing attitudes toward the pandemic. He sees it as a move by the CDC to try to regain the public’s trust.

A recent survey from the Annenberg Public Policy Center shows that most Americans (54%) are no longer masking indoors, and about 4 in 10 say they’ve fully returned to their pre-pandemic routines — up from 16% in January.

What the CDC is, in my opinion, trying to do, they are trying to still be relevant, and maybe when they say something, people will listen to them instead of being completely 180 degrees away from what behavior is anyway.

Chin-Hong said

Bill Hanage, an epidemiologist at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, agrees that the new guidance shows that the CDC is trying to meet people where they are.

I think that this is a point where you actually have to sort of get real and start giving people tools they can use to do something or not. Because otherwise, people will just will not take you seriously.

Hanage said

Other experts, however, feel that the CDC’s new guidelines don’t go far enough to correct scientific missteps in previous guidance.

This revision does not go anywhere near enough to correct the problems of flawed recommendations and lack of evidence.

Said Dr. Eric Topol, a cardiologist at Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California, said in an email to CNN. Topol has been critical of the CDC for many months, saying it wasn’t strict enough with its isolation policies for people with Covid.

Latest Advice To Stay Safe From Covid

The CDC recommends that Covid-19 prevention practices continue to depend on a person’s risk of becoming severely ill and on the Covid-19 community levels. Community levels reflect cases in a community as well as hospitalization rates and hospital capacity.

When the Covid community level is high — as it currently is in 41% of counties — the CDC continues to recommend that everyone wear high-quality masks indoors. High-risk people should also wear quality masks when the community level is medium, as it now is in 39% of counties.

The agency also puts more emphasis on improving ventilation. Aerosol scientists have long complained that the 6-foot social distancing guidance was arbitrary and unhelpful because the virus that causes Covid-19 can float through the air for greater distances.

The CDC continues to stress the use of vaccines and therapeutics to reduce “medically significant illness” in Covid-19. For the general population, the agency noted that being vaccinated and boosted is highly protective against severe illness and death. It urges everyone to stay up to date on their recommended shots.

In addition to vaccination, the agency urges additional measures for people with suppressed immune function, including the use of Evusheld, a kind of passive immunity that’s given before a person gets sick. It’s especially helpful for people who can’t mount an immune response, and experts say it has been underutilized in this country.

The agency also stresses the use of antiviral medications in people who catch Covid-19 and are at higher risk for severe outcomes. This group includes people who are older or unvaccinated or those who have certain medical conditions that put them at higher risk. Conditions that increase risk include overweight and obesity, pregnancy, smoking, diabetes, cancer, heart disease and mental health conditions, including depression.

Covid Guidance For Schools

Some of the changes in the guidelines will apply to schools.

The agency removed the recommendation that kids in different classrooms avoid mixing, a practice known as cohorting. It also removed advice that kids who are contacts of someone who tested positive for Covid-19 take regular tests — and test negative — to remain in the classroom, which was known as test-to-stay.

Some educators said they didn’t expect the updated CDC guidelines to change much, at least for this school year.

We welcome clear, concise and actionable guidance from the CDC. Specific to this latest round, we don’t expect it to be particularly disrupting or impactful in schools.

Said Noelle Ellerson Ng, associate executive director of advocacy and governance at AASA, The School Superintendents Association.

Many districts have finalized their opening plans and mitigation strategies and are sticking to what worked the prior school year to keep kids in schools learning.

What Chin-Hong said is correct. The collective masses have had enough with the Covid war, and are far more concerned with their pocketbooks and wallets than a made-up virus, that purportedly keeps morphing right at the same time one of these arbitrary goals was met.

Fauci Says It’s ‘Inexplicable’ Americans See Forced Masking As Impeding Their Freedom. Jokes He Created Covid In His Kitchen

Right now, in my view, the media is more focused on maximizing their profit margins amongst the new demographic they created, of people that are scared of their own shadows.

Nevertheless, we’ve seen how the media and medical bodies love to switch the narrative every few weeks when they make a big move like this, so do not be surprised if all this is undone in several weeks or less.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • The damage is already done, unfortunately.

    Job 38:3 KJV:
    Gird up now thy loins like a man;

Coming late fall/winter people who witnessed those falling dead on video from the jabs will be witnessing it in person, at their jobs, homes and elsewhere. (It’s easier to for most people to watch online than in reality, because of their decades of media conditioning.)

I wonder how that real life trauma is going to impact people, watching hundreds of others fall down and pass away… daily, weekly, monthly.

The sirens from ambulances are non-stop anymore, day and night. It’s already happening but not at the flood rate that’s coming. Imagine being at work and 1/3 of the workforce falls dead beside you.

And think on the narrative and censorship of what they plan to say when this happens. Our tongues are already cut out, for the most part.

Thank the Lord Jesus Christ that He will protect His own.

    • Seeing many fall over dead, to be quite honest B Sun: I’m excited but I’m also scared.

It’s scary but I’m also excited and thankful because the Lord’s justice is prevailing.

And Laredo, Texas is going to see kill offs too. It’s hardcore Catholic and Protestant especially Pentecostal (pente-CATHOLIC) so Laredo won’t be spared, either.

I see someone fall over dead, I’ll be shocked and freaked out, but as I get collected, I’ll say “oh, he/she got jabbed and they were wicked – professing christian, Catholic, or whatever, another one bites the dust.”

There’ll be more ambulance sirens than police sirens and the majority of those cops with sirens and lights on will probably be trying to be good Samaritans or might be EMS trained as well and be trying to help the firefighter/paramedics at the scenes.

Say I’m driving without my lights on (I forget) cop turns their lights on and I pull over, the cop drives right passed me and the cop says “nevermind him he just forgot to turn his lights on let it pass – I’ve got another vaxxed person who’s dying!”

Hospitals are going to be overcrowded! They’ll have to order more beds…and maybe ventilators.

    • Me personally he seems legit and sound but I’m not too sure at the same time. Something seems fishy.

I don’t know if he’s a Calvinist and I could be wrong, but IF he is a Calvinist, shut him off.

  • Those who went back to the office at work are mostly jabbed up. No coincidence that there is also a 5G tower in the parking lot near the work building.

    • I’m currently looking for a job, because I got a fever from stress and over work as well as waking up so early for well over a year (5 AM to 1:30 PM) that can be rough on you at times…they said I had to get tested (we ought to obey God rather than men) I quit.

All they gotta do for the jab is amplify the 5G and it’ll be sudden death.

This disgusting little hireling named Michael Rowan. He makes me sick and he makes the Lord sick as well!

Friends, whenever you get a chance, if you want to, if not that’s alright, leave a comment judging this clown harshly!

    • Andrew I agree. I just watched about 5 to 10 minutes of that guy and he is definitely not saved. He acts more like a stand up comedian. He is a embarrassment to real Bible believing God fearing Christians thats including me.

      • Michael Rowan is no more a man of God anymore than I’m a Japanese schoolgirl.
He’s an absolute charlatan and he’s just a useful punk idiot used by the Vatican church building system.

Some of these church buildings have stand up “christian” comedians. How the Lord can keep from vomiting right away is amazing.

Maybe if Bryan and Jacob have time, they can expose and rebuke that buffoon.

  • You all seem like friendly people, may I ask why you call yourselves “Christian” ?

From my understanding of read the New Testament scriptures I understand a Greek community where paul was preaching happen to call them (paul & the disciples with him) Christians in the Greek meaning Christ like, correct?

However, this is not a title that Jesus Christ gave to his followers (the saved) nor did he preach Christianity to Israel but rather perfect and pure Judaism. He came correcting it all from corruption due to wicked israeli men passing themselves off as Godly men to obtain the position of rabbi but in their hearts was the love of money and self righteousness.

Paul never called himself a Christian bore preached a Christianity belief but a perfect Judaism/Judeo as was given to moses But this time it was a completed Judaism as the scriptures became fulfilled according to the dispensation.

Paul was sent to the gentiles so that now all nations of peoples may be grafted into the promises & inheritance of Israel, therefore making our belief, perfect pure Judaism.

I would like to ask you mr. Jacob for instruction in this for me.

  • Who can I go to , to ask questions around here? It seems like there is very little to none fellowship. I have genuine questions and am willing to learn but no answers.

I understand I am supposed to go to my elders the men God has chosen to teach and I only ask questions as I go along in studying his word KJV.

  • Wow thanks and ok makes sense. I didn’t know that , sorry.

I will take you up on that offer and I will keep it to a minimum.

    I appreciate you responding.

    God bless you Jacob
