German newspaper Die Welt reported that the government is seeking to make mask-wearing compulsory starting this Autumn season in October, lasting all the way into March of the next year, in a scheme they are calling ‘O-bis-O’ (Oktober bis Ostern).
Daily Mail said ‘the ‘O-bis-O’ rule refers to motoring regulations, which require drivers to put winter tyres on their cars during the months when the German cold really bites.’
This mandate would effect all public venues, including grocery stores, bars, and restaurants. It is currently unclear if this rule would effect schools as well.
Currently Germans are obligated to wear masks on public transportation and in medical facilities.
Last year’s Oktoberfest was completely canceled by the German government, and mandatory mask-wearing will only ruin people’s fun even more.
The move is being proposed now because it is presumed that Covid cases will rise significantly again.
I ask those who want to protect themselves or others to wear masks indoors.
Voluntarily wearing masks needs to be a normality indoors.

Meanwhile, today Kiwi Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is encouraging New Zealanders to not only be up-to-date with their Covid shots, but is encouraging they get their flu shots as well, and to wear masks to stop the transmission of influenza.

Ireland
Today Irish health officials are also signaling that mask mandates will probably be reinstated at some point.
The Irish Independent wrote, ‘Health Minister Stephen Donnelly has suggested mandatory mask-wearing could be reintroduced on public transport and in shops as Ireland grapples with a summer wave of Covid-19. While the return of public health restrictions is not under consideration by public health officials, Mr. Donnelly notably did not rule out the reimposition of the mask mandate which was dropped at the end of February.’
Moreover, Ireland’s Health Service Executive (HSE) also signaled that masks are likely to return.
Yes, I think any time we get a trend like we’re getting at the moment it has to trigger considerations for reduced transmission. We’re strongly watching what’s happening. Our immediate priority is hospital cases, which are significantly rising.
Publicly, people can say half of the cases are incidental, but that doesn’t matter to us. Once they’re in hospital, they’re separated and isolated and that takes up bed capacity.
Cases are rising in nursing homes. At the peak we were at 70%, then down to 12%, and now are rising again. We’re not seeing significant harm or illness but more cases in each nursing home.
We have been monitoring all of this and although we’re not seeing the same level of sickness, ICU numbers have not risen, but that takes two weeks to appear.

People need to realize it is never going to go back to zero. That’s not the nature of this virus.

The WinePress just two weeks ago that Fauci told Fox News that mask-wearing was only about obeying authorities.
One of the issues, Neil, that I have articulated in the past and I will in the future—it is less about mandates on the plane that it is about who has the right and the authority and the capability of making public health decisions.

The sum is simple: these megalomaniacs are telling us that masks WILL comeback this fall, and probably sooner. Therefore, unless the people throw up massive resistance (which I seriously doubt that), the propaganda machine will be fully reignited some more, and a probable return to face-muzzling will occur sooner. They need a good coverup for the continuing rise in the vaccinated dying off.

I can’t see most people putting the mask back on honestly. Even the jabbed people, some of them are sick and tired of it
In Alberta, Canada: all of the masking policies are gone EXCEPT if you work for Alberta Health Services ( government run health care, eh), we still “have to ” wear them. A memeber of parliment said that they might introduce another lockdown in the fall… just in time for flu-cold seaon.
