Moderna announced the arrival of a new Covid vaccine that is far more “superior” than its predecessor, claiming to offer 7-8 times more protection, while promising it will receive clearance for use by Autumn and to potentially be administered annually like a flu shot.
This announcement comes not that long after when Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel lamented that he and his company are being forced to throw away 30 million doses of unused Covid mRNA vaccines, claiming that “nobody wants them.”
During a panel discussion at the 2022 World Economic Forum summit meeting in Davos, Bancel said:
It’s sad to say, I’m in the process of throwing 30 million doses into the garbage, because nobody wants them. We have a big demand problem.
And after many attempts to lobby governments and entice people some more, “nobody wants to take them,” Bancel confessed.
The challenge we have now is [a] very different situation than we had two years ago. The problem we had two years ago is there was no mRNA capacity in the world. Zero.
The situation is very different today. Moderna has three billion doses annual capacity, Pfizer has four billion doses, that’s seven billion doses, and the Chinese don’t want the vaccines with mRNA. So if you just take the, just the Chinese population out, you have more than a dose per person, and as we just discussed, the issue in many countries is people don’t want vaccines.
In the U.S., people don’t want vaccines. Around the world, we have a lot of people who don’t want the vaccine.

FDA Endorses Novavax Covid Vaccine For Use, Giving Americans A Fourth Choice
Now, just a couple of weeks later, mainstream media was beaming when they announced that Moderna has designed a newer Covid vaccine that is far more “superior” than the originals, and what Inside Edition calls a “super vaccine.”
ABC News reported that this new vaccine is believed to be so effective, “this could potentially serve as the roadmap for an annual Covid vaccine, just like we do with the flu, rather than a new booster every few months.” Moreover, if everything goes to according to plan, the shot should receive regulatory approval during the fall season.
In the evening ABC also noted that the shot “could be ready in time this fall for any new wave.”
Moderna is hoping this could pave the way for an annual Covid shot like we do for the flu.

The WinePress reported earlier this year that Moderna has been designing swaths of mRNA vaccines with the use of AI, for every disease and ailment in their database.
