‘The embargo covers Russian oil brought in by sea, allowing a temporary exemption for imports delivered by pipeline, a move that was crucial to bring landlocked Hungary on board a decision that required consensus,’ says the Associated Press.
Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission and head of the executive branch for the E.U., stated this move will “effectively cut around 90% of oil imports from Russia to the EU by the end of the year.” Meanwhile E.U. Council President Charles Michel confirmed that the parties will send 9 billion euros to the Ukraine.
We want to stop Russia’s war machine,” Michel said, calling this move a “remarkable achievement.”
More than ever it’s important to show that we are able to be strong, that we are able to be firm, that we are able to be tough.
President Michel said
Mikhail Ulyanov, a Russian international representative, stated on Twitter:
As she rightly said yesterday, Russia will find other importers.
Western media has praised the move, such as the case with ABC News claiming this will hurt the Russian war effort, while not considering what effects this will have on Europe. Moreover, the field reporter for ABC stood in front of a destroyed a tank in what he said was the capital city of Kyiv, as civilians casually walked about behind him. The reporter said:
Around me people here in Kyiv are relaxed, they’re celebrating the victory over Russian forces when they tried to get into the capital, [and the destroyed tank is now some] kind of tourist attraction
snow.
But Fatih Birol, head of the International Energy Agency, stated last week that Europe that many nations may have to consider some some sort of fuel rationing, and have a contingency plan in place.
I’m advising several European governments to prepare a contingency plan.
Moreover, Hungarian president Viktor Orbán, told Michel in a letter written last week:
If adopted, the proposed sanctions would immediately cause serious supply disruptions in Hungary and undermine our vital energy security interests. In addition, they would increase fuel prices by approximately 55-60 percent at a time when energy prices are already at a 40-year high.
We are facing a situation that any member state might be the next one [to be cut off]. So far we have been able to take care of the security of supply concerns of these three member states, mainly with the help of the solidarity of neighbors.
Kadri Simson, the EU’s energy commissioner, who explained that the E.U. is racing to store up on natural gas supplies in a bid to replace Russia’s imports, which they claim can be done by the end of the year.
The Trends Journal notes that Russia has already stymied gas supply to Poland, Finland, Bulgaria, though they are not quite as dependent on it compared to Hungary or Germany.

[1] Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days? [7] They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold. The WP has covering these many restrictions the U.S., E.U, and NATO have been imposing on Russia, and all it is doing is hurting us in return. Russia has already been setting their sights to other contacts, namely more eastward, and many other nations who are getting sick and tired of dealing with America and the West. And while Europe more greatly relies on natural gas imports from Russia, cutting off their oil will only make the energy crisis even worse, which will really be felt in the winter.
Senate Votes 100-0 To Permanently End Trade With Russia And Bans Oil Imports. Biden To Soon Sign
Also, I cannot be the only one who thinks that ABC broadcast is so totally fake! I have been covering what is REALLY going on in Ukraine, and what they are propagandizing people with is hilarious. Apparently we are to believe yet another attack on the capital failed, and now Ukrainians are casually walking around as if it is another day in the park? Clown world indeed.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
