Queenslanders are now adopting a growing trend to rent clothing, namely designer dresses and high-end fashion, rather than purchase it and own it themselves.
One Aussie woman, reported by local Australian news, has made this concept her own small business, renting out designer dresses for herself and her customers.
It just means I can wear fancy clothes whenever I want, and not feel the guilt or be in debt.
Shae Plant, one small business owner adopting this concept told 7 News Australia
One customer also interviewed said she was saving “hundreds – hundreds of dollars” by renting instead of buying.
According to the broadcast, this trend is growing the fastest in Australia versus the rest of the world.

Another boutique owner explained that they offer trialing, where consumers can try out different styles before officially renting it.
Natalie Fiacchi, owner of One Night Stand, explained that “there’s so much more awareness now on the impact that ‘fast fashion’ has on the environment.”
Apartments are getting smaller and smaller, closets are getting smaller. People don’t have the room to necessarily fill up their clothing [line] that they can only wear once.
Another small business owner getting in on this trend explained
This trend fits perfectly in line with the World Economic Forum’s goals for life by the year 2030:
Welcome to the year 2030. Welcome to my city – or should I say, “our city”. I don’t own anything. I don’t own a car. I don’t own a house. I don’t own any appliances or any clothes.
It might seem odd to you, but it makes perfect sense for us in this city. Everything you considered a product, has now become a service. We have access to transportation, accommodation, food and all the things we need in our daily lives. One by one all these things became free, so it ended up not making sense for us to own much.
Once in awhile, I will choose to cook for myself. It is easy – the necessary kitchen equipment is delivered at my door within minutes. Since transport became free, we stopped having all those things stuffed into our home. Why keep a pasta-maker and a crepe cooker crammed into our cupboards? We can just order them when we need them.
Shopping? I can’t really remember what that is. For most of us, it has been turned into choosing things to use. Sometimes I find this fun, and sometimes I just want the algorithm to do it for me. It knows my taste better than I do by now.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY
The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain.
Proverbs 13:4, 15:19
The Aussies and the rest of the world are walking right into their own enslavement. People can point the finger at the dastardly wicked WEF all day long, but when the people are voluntarily accepting it with glee, the handlers will be happy to oblige and the people are the real ones to blame.
This is what is a lazy nation full of deadbeats who don’t want to work and sweat for a living looks like.
The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour.
Proverbs 21:25
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
