I’m super concerned about how many sensors are involved. When we do the Metaverse, we have to put lots more microphones from Facebook; lots more other kinds of sensors into our homes.
You don’t really have a choice now on whether or not you want Facebook spying on you at home. We just have to trust the company to do the right thing.
They’ve made very grandiose promises about how there’s safety-by-design in the Metaverse. But if they don’t commit to transparency and access and other accountability measures, I can imagine just seeing a repeat of all the harms you currently see on Facebook.
Frances Haugen, former Facebook product manager, now turned “whistleblower,” explained in an interview with Politico
‘Aside from the customary virtual reality (VR) headset, the Metaverse will include full-body sensors that monitor everything from eye movements to heart rate and more,’ the International Business Times wrote.
Prior to Meta rebranding itself from the original name of Facebook, user’s were already expressing concern over their privacy concerns and violations.
“We’ll work with experts in government, industry and academia to think through issues and opportunities in the Metaverse.” We also need to involve the human rights and civil rights communities from the start to ensure these technologies are built in a way that’s inclusive and empowering.

Added surveillance is the LEAST of concerns with the metaverse. As I have reported and notated, the media is not letting the masses fully understand what this metaverse will entail: the handlers want and will force the masses into being integrated and literally plugged into the grid. So, added surveillance is only a formality and just a fraction of the real evils at hand. This “whistleblower” is probably still on the payroll for Meta, and is just acting as the “fall girl.”
Ultimately, all of this will be integrated with the coming mark of the beast system, as the MOTB will require having the person’s brain fried and locked down into the grid.
