The Communist Party in China continues its crackdown on religions such as Christianity and Islam, by either forcibly rewriting and mitigating it’s practices to better reflect communist ideals, or just outright ban it all together and create their mitigated version of it.
The WinePress reported late last year that China has been actively working to rewrite their own version of the Bible approved by the state, that aims to only malign very basic teachings of the scriptures, such as making Jesus Christ a sinner who was not divine, and was pro-communist.
Now the nation continues to prohibit the use of apps that allow Chinese residents to read versions of the Bible or Quran.
The following report is from the Express:
The Chinese Communist Party has intensified its persecution against religious minorities in recent years. This was perhaps best demonstrated last year when Apple removed a Bible and Quran app from its Chinese version of its app store at the request of Chinese officials. Apple appeared to justify its move by pointing media outlets to its small print. When asked by the BBC, it offered a statement from its Human Rights policy, which reads:
We’re required to comply with local laws, and at times there are complex issues about which we may disagree with governments and other stakeholders on the right path forward.
The Quraan Majeed app was reported to have over five million downloads on the Google Play Store at the time while the Bible app by Olive Tree has just over one million.
The developer of the Quran Majeed app told Insider:
According to Apple, our app Quran Majeed has been removed from the China App Store because it includes content that is illegal in China as determined by the CAC, which is not in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines.
We are trying to get in touch with CAC and relevant Chinese authorities to get this issue resolved as we had close to a million users for our app in China that have been impacted.
Two months after the apps were banned, new regulations came into place in China banning all foreign organisations or individuals from spreading religious content online unless they have a licence from China’s religious regulator.
It was also reported in 2019 that the Chinese regime began closing churches and jailing pastors.
Lian Xi, a professor at Duke University in North Carolina, told the Observer at the time:
The government has orchestrated a campaign to ‘sinicise’ Christianity, to turn Christianity into a fully domesticated religion that would do the bidding of the party.
And Huang Xiaoning, pastor of the Guangzhou Bible Reformed Church, added:
The Chinese Communist party (CCP) wants to be the God of China and the Chinese people. But according to the Bible only God is God. The government is scared of the churches.
Ying Fuk Tsang, director of the Christian Study Centre on Chinese Religion and Culture at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, also shed light on the repressive policies.
He said:
The goal of the crackdown is not to eradicate religions.
President Xi Jinping is trying to establish a new order on religion, suppressing its blistering development. [The government] aims to regulate the ‘religious market’ as a whole.
Last month, the US imposed travel bans on Chinese officials as punishment for the country’s ongoing religious discrimination.
In a statement, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that the sanctions are being applied to Chinese officials who “are believed to be responsible for, or complicit in, policies or actions aimed at suppressing religious and spiritual practitioners, members of ethnic minority groups, dissidents, human rights defenders, journalists, labour organisers, civil society organisers, and peaceful protests in China and beyond”.
The move came as China was condemned for its treatment of Uighur Muslims in Xinjiang.
The United Nations says at least one million Uighurs have been detained in so-called “counter-extremism centres” in Xinjiang.
Human rights groups have said China’s treatment of the Uighurs amounts to genocide and crimes against humanity.
Beijing has rejected these allegations and says its policies towards the Uighurs, as well as other minorities, are necessary to fend off extremism.
There are about 12 million Uighurs, mostly Muslim, living in Xinjiang.
They speak their own language, which is similar to Turkish, and see themselves as culturally and ethnically closer to Central Asian nations than Han Chinese culture.
They make up less than half of the Xinjiang population.
AUTHOR COMMENTARY
Banning a book written by a six-year-old sex slave to a devil-possessed “prophet” is but a blessing, but the crackdown on the Bible and Christianity is not (though, cleaning house of the fruitless denominations cuts threw the thickets of organized religion, but obviously limiting anyone’s freedom to have their own liberty of conscience and beliefs is sinister, and is no freedom indeed).
“The government has orchestrated a campaign to ‘sinicise’ Christianity, to turn Christianity into a fully domesticated religion that would do the bidding of the party.” -Oh, the sweet hilarious irony of that statement!! In China, they just ban it all and rewrite their own. In “free” and “prosperous” America, the wicked God-haters are allowed to write hundreds of different versions as to how they see it fit, and market each one differently to scores of different audiences. Moreover, all the church buildings DID bow down to the government since 2020 when they shut them down with no questions asked.
‘Unprecedented Drop’ Reported In the Number of Bible Readers In The US
[11] Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: [12] And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.Amos 8:11-12
Not just in China, but when the economy implodes in on itself, and China cuts off resources to the states, it will indeed erase the new versions (and its users) fairly quickly, but many producers of the KJB will also be down for the count. Therefore, there will be a true famine of the word of God moving forward, unless God blesses some brethren to start producing copies of the KJB: that are prudent and awake to what is going on.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

Hebrews 12:3
3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
We’re so blessed in the States and Canada that we are still able to have fellowship online and talk about the King James bible, post and study scriptures and witness to lost people without violent, unjust persecution like in N. Korea, Muslim countries, India, Africa, etc.
Amen Neil,
Rom_8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
2Ti_3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
Yup. Saved brethren aren’t always guaranteed an easy life but it’s okay. God’s will be done. We can always choose to get out (for those of us who live in populated cities) before his judgment comes to these places as the King James bible teaches.
I want to the only problem is I have no know how and I’m basically stranded. I live in a Roman Catholic dominated city which also has her daughter’s churches (baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, pentecostal, and so on) littered all about, witchcraft, sex perversion (TWO strip clubs and one is 24/7) and corruption. All because decades ago my grandfather who I believe was being selfish “wanted to go home,” and was religious he went from Catholic to pentecostal (he just went from the mother to one of her daughters) and despite some pros of where I live, the city I live in is a dump, satan has totally destroyed it.
I live in Laredo, Texas.
Maybe try and get a job in a smaller isolated town? I had a job in a very small rural town in Manitoba, in a hog farm and have zero experience as a hog worker. Problem was since the job was so physical, I started eating more meat and my gout flared up, so I unfortunately had to come back to the city. But getting out is still something that I’m considering seriously if another opportunity comes.
The small town I stayed in doesn’t care about masking and vaccinations. It’s far from everything, quiet, few people, I believe that’s why enforcement of mandates is lax.
Following the ancient pattern of Assyria with their deportation schemes, & Rome with their dumbing down & controlling craft layers & covert surveillance & intel via the confessional. Actually, all the cults do that. It’s not like the imams let anyone just read the Quran, or teach everyone Arabic so that they COULD even if they wanted to. It’s like the old Romish Latin. The Augustinians do the same thing with their philosophy layered over scripture & divinity degrees.

China’s been developing & tweaking their Three Self Patriotic Movement since early in communism. There comes a time, like with the Jesuits’, that the realization comes that direct & overt attacks backfire, & they go subtle to infiltrate, gradually condition & conform Bibles & people. Funny how Jesus told us it would be this way. And way back, how Balaam taught Balak to send in the women, as with the Baals of Peor to subtly tempt & draw into sin which destroys & draws God’s wrath & judgment.

The thing is, God lets them do it & tries & judges his people via those things, then takes care of those wicked, too. All media ‘managed’ & closer to absolutely managed everyday, but he’s gonna let them have their fornicating union, their Romanism, then destroying even it because it’s never enough with these: the lust of the eys, the lust of the flesh, the pride of Life. They are as their spiritual father, lying even when they speak a truth in part.

China’s just honing the old Sun Tzu devilish stuff which the Jesuits added to their repertoire, too, back in the early years with all this craft & subtilty. How the Chinese people, & the people anywhere Rome or her ‘socialism’ & idolatrous humanism, global corporatist empire, & science falsely so-called go….are ‘managed’ & exploited. Met a young man booted with the foreigners as they were finishing up the monstrosity that Google built there & clamping down with their fake, state-approved merging ‘Christianity’. He was terrified for those left behind, his Chinese brethren, & realizing how far gone down the same road the American churches were: even the best & most conservative of what remained. Given over more & more, out of order from the get-go, but suffered. With the King James Bible & just the dumbed down dilutions & purpose driven fraud & gradual aligning of antichrist idolatous humanist, & Dole’s deal with the last seizure of State control….they didn’t stand a chance.

Not good places to be. The vaccine dispensary angle on the State incorporation & debt scheme working in the same ways. You find a repentant Manasseh type here & there trying to warn & clean things up & turn back…but since it’s Romish & flawed in polity & order & authority from the get-go, no more likely than the northern kingdom getting right & avoiding judgment, Judah gone south….more typical of the trail of blood biblical stream outside of Rome that’s been gradually apostasizing & taken back, or Rome in our own time & dispensation. And few heed them, just like Manasseh’s contemporaries.
