The following report is from Tech.eu:

Lisbon-based Pleez has raised €1.5 million in a seed funding round led by Berlin’s FoodLabs. The foodtech startup is slated to use the funding to further develop its technology stack and advance with pan-European expansion efforts, initially targeting a Spanish market entry.

Built on the premise that restaurants and platforms have hidden gems buried in the menu(s), Pleez employs an AI to squeeze all of the cheese, ultimately resulting in a 25% lift in sales according to the startup.

Analysing menu performance from every angle, Pleez aims to please by providing menu performance and competitor analysis, offering actionable insights that are said to increase revenue and ticket size.

Pleez’s €1.5 million seed round was led by FoodLabs and saw participation from early Gorillas and Choco backers Shio Capital, with existing investors Wisenext and APX following on. Angel investors including the founders of Orderbird also participated.

Pleez is tackling one of the major challenges in rapidly growing the food delivery market. We’re glad to be backing the experienced and highly committed Pleez team to expand their solution across Europe.

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

I mention this report because it demonstrates how the masses are very slowly being conditioned to accept the smart cities and tracking every little movement we do, and all our habits, and so forth.

Agenda 2030: You’ll Own Nothing And Be Happy

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
