“The shields perform at their absolute best against uniform backgrounds such as foliage, grass, rendered walls, sand, sky and asphalt.”

The following report is from Study Finds:

Forget Harry Potter’s cloak, a British company claim to have made a real-life invisibility shield! London-based Invisibility Shield Co. says their fully functional devices can hide a whole person in broad daylight.

The firm explains that the innovation uses a precision engineered lens array to direct much of the light reflected from the subject away from the observer. This sends it sideways across the face of the shield to the left and right. From the observer’s perspective, background light is effectively smeared horizontally across the front face of the shield, over the area where the subject would ordinarily be seen.

The shields perform at their absolute best against uniform backgrounds such as foliage, grass, rendered walls, sand, sky and asphalt. Backgrounds with defined horizontal lines work really well too and these can be natural features such as the horizon or man-made features like walls, rails or painted lines.

The company explains

The makers are offering a small shield (310 x 210mm) to hide “everyday items” for £49 (about $65), or a full-size 950 x 650mm version that can hide a person. The larger shield is available for £299, or about $395. Estimated delivery is expected by December.

Currently, 25 shields have been developed, and the team is funding on Kickstarter to ramp-up capacity to develop more.

Disappointed by the lack of progress and the continued unavailability of actual working invisibility shields, we decided to step things up and go all in on our project to create one. We went through countless iterations, tested a lot of materials, and experienced a lot of failure. But along the way, we managed to develop a reliable, scalable and efficient manufacturing process and created what we believe are the best invisibility shields ever made.

Being my usual pessimistic-self, while this technology is fascinating as to how it works, if think we can assume that big-tech and militaries will seek to get their hands on it and reverse engineer it, for purposes God only knows.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • I wanna go home. Then again, maybe I could hide my chickens & garden behind a couple. If Gideon could carry on & thresh wheat in a well to the blessing of God…

    • I could use one of those shields, but I tell ya what, that shield is a joke compared to how true believers and those that truly come to repentance are protected by Jesus! You can’t say the same about the church buildings though, those Babel buildings deserve the worst of the worst, have fun hirelings and false brethren with the government stomping you out-and by the way, Jesus is doing it!
