After a week into the initial strikes from Russia, the Ukrainian government announced that they would be providing payments to those who lost their jobs because of the war. But there’s a catch: the person needs to show proof of vaccination.
Over a week ago, on March 6th, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced the launch of a new program to give some aid for Ukrainians who stayed and have helped to defend the nation, and have lost their jobs because of the conflict.
Reported by UATV – an international broadcasting group that covers what is happening the Ukraine – Shmyhal stated this in a speech announcing the program:
The state needs your help more today than ever. I call on all Ukrainians: the war was a shock for all of us. Many have lost their jobs, homes, savings, but stayed to defend Ukraine.
Today the state will stand by you. On behalf of the President [Volodymyr Zelesnky] of Ukraine, from next week an updated program of his support will begin to work.
Under this program every employee, every individual entrepreneur who lost his job during the war will receive six thousand and five hundred [in payment].
The program will work by analogy with payment with vaccination. That is with the help of [a government application]. The Ministry of Digital Transformation will provide the details how exactly to apply for assistance, but this is for now.
In the future, each of you must start working for the good of Ukraine and [for] our victory. I’m grateful to everyone who has helped our heroic army in one way or another, as well as helping people who [are] stranded by devastation and occupation.
As noted in a recent WinePress report discussing the World Health Organization’s warnings, that the refugee crisis and conflict would be the catalyst for a new outbreak of epic proportions, Ukrainian media reports that only 34% of the population has been vaccinated – one of the lowest rates in Europe.
Therefore, not many people will even be eligible for this program, not to mention the reliability of these checks to arrive as promised, in the midst of what international media continues report as this massive war of desolation and destruction.
Facial Recognition Systems To Spy On Troops
On top of essentially instigating a vaccine passport, the Ukraine will now also be installing AI-powered facial recognition systems to reportedly identify Russian troops, identify dead soldiers, and combat misinformation.
In an exclusive report by Reuters, Ukraine’s defense ministry launched these AI systems powered by Clearview.
‘Ukraine is receiving free access to Clearview AI’s powerful search engine for faces, letting authorities potentially vet people of interest at checkpoints, among other uses, added Lee Wolosky, an adviser to Clearview and former diplomat under U.S. presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden,’ Reuters reported.
The founder of Clearview, Hoan Ton-That, said his company had over 2 billion images from VKontakte, a popular Russian social media platform, at their disposal, out of a database that exceeds 10 billion photos in total.
In a letter that was sent to the Ukraine, and seen by Reuters, detailing the capabilities of their product, Ton-That also said that Clearview could be used to ‘reunite refugees separated from their families, identify Russian operatives and help the government debunk false social media posts related to the war.’ However, Ton-That says he is not totally sure what the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense will use it for.
This service will be gifted to the Ukraine for free.
Albert Fox Cahn, executive director of the Surveillance Technology Oversight Project in New York, said this may ultimately backfire and making things worse.
We’re going to see well-intentioned technology backfiring and harming the very people it’s supposed to help.
Once you introduce these systems and the associated databases to a war zone, you have no control over how it will be used and misused.
Reuters notes, ‘Ton-That said Clearview should never be wielded as the sole source of identification and that he would not want the technology to be used in violation of the Geneva Conventions, which created legal standards for humanitarian treatment during war.’
Clearview is also facing litigation in the U.S. for purportedly breaking privacy agreements by nabbing images from the web. The company argues that they have done no differently than Google would. Regardless, Australia and the United Kingdom have already deemed their practices illegal.
AUTHOR COMMENTARY
This move by the Ukraine to only offer checks attached to a Covid vaccine has gone completely unnoticed it seems. Not only are the Ukrainians being scarified by their government and used as bullet soakers – as covered in other WinePress reports on this conflict – now the government is laughing at them some more, by offering them checks because they lost their jobs to a war that is already lost, but sticking the death jab with it.
[10] When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting. [11] By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked. [18] The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise men turn away wrath.
Proverbs 11:10-11, 18, 29:8
Russia-Ukraine is only an extension of the Covid war: we never truly left it, though alternative media is saying the opposite right now claiming a victory. And the same is about to occur elsewhere. The WP reported recently that vaccine passports are quietly creeping up in the U.S. They no doubt will be implemented soon.
The U.S. Is Quietly Rolling Out A Vaccine Passport In Both Red And Blue States
As for the Clearview intrusion, I think you would agree with me that that this will be used for everything but what Ukraine and Clearview say that it is. It seems to me the handlers are working to increase their databases, and further justify why super invasive surveillance must be implemented everywhere.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
