After weeks of protesting in the streets and cities of Canada, Prime Minister Trudeau made the unprecedented move to initiate the Emergencies Act, essentially enacting martial law (or at least the precursors to do it): that act has now just been revoked.
The Canadian Senate still had to vote on whether or not Trudeau had the jurisdiction to enact the Emergencies Act in the first place. The Parliament voted yesterday in support of Trudeau receiving more power to issue dictates per the Act.
Rebel News explains that if the Senate voted against the Act, then it would have ended immediately. If not, the Emergencies Act would have remained in place for another 30 days until it was time to revote on the policy.
Trudeau told Canadian press that the Act was to be ended. He says that since the protests are now beginning to shrink, the Act is no longer needed.
We were very clear that our use of the Emergencies Act would be limited in time. When we invoked it, it would be in place for up to 30 days, but we said that we would lift it as soon as possible.
After careful consideration, we’re ready to confirm that the situation is no longer an emergency. Therefore, the federal government will be ending the use of the Emergencies Act.
We are confident that existing laws and bi-laws are now sufficient to keep people safe. Of course, we will continue to be there to support provincial and local authorities if and when needed.
Trudeau stated
Even though the Act is now ending, some of the baggage and penalties that came along with it are still remaining in place.
Justice Minister David Lametti said ‘any violations of the law that occurred during the 10 days the measures were in place will continue to be followed up on through the justice system,’ CTV News reported.
Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland also said that some bank accounts will remain frozen, something the Emergencies Act gave them the legal jurisdiction to do.
Not because of the emergency measures. There will be other orders, court orders, and others, and because of these orders the bank accounts may be frozen.

CTV News also notes, ‘Many vehicles associated with the Freedom Convoy have since regrouped on private properties in communities outside of the city.’
Raquel Dancho, Conservative MP and public safety critic, said this was an indirect admittance he and his administration were wrong.
This was a power grab, a government overreach, and again I’m just shocked to see that [Trudeau] is actually admitting [that] Conservatives, what we’ve been saying all along is correct. That the existing laws on the books are more than enough to keep the peace.
The moment that it is no longer needed, is the time to revoke it, and we believe that that was the appropriate move that was made today.

[15] As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people. [16] The prince that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.Proverbs 28:15-16
Trudeau may have pulled back the throttle on the Emergencies Act, but he still has not backtracked on the original mandates.
Overall, this is similar to what most of Europe is doing right now: they are pulling back on many restrictions, but still keep a ton of them in place that were never there before. This is how governments gobble up more freedoms and extend their authoritarianism.
The mandates are still in place, people have been arrested (and will continue to be), bank accounts are still denied, people lose everything, United Nations stormtroopers are still patrolling the streets, and so on.
So while alternative and conservative media celebrates, the damage is done; and, Trudeau and his party have voluntarily (forced by the handlers) set a new precedent to responding to rebellion against the government and mandates. Now, this new even more authoritarian government is here to stay, and the police state will only grow quietly each week from here, regardless if the original mandates cease. This is another reason why I have called these protests scripted and controlled opposition, because it establishes a new floor concerning tyranny and oppression. Hence,
An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.
Proverbs 17:11
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
