After over a decade of longwinded court and legislative battles, the South American nation of Chile has now officially legalized same-sex marriages.
Today is a historic day, our country has approved same-sex marriage, one more step forward in terms of justice, in terms of equality, recognizing that love is love.
Minister of Social Development Karla Rubilar said in response to the results of the vote.
Reuters writes, ‘Chile’s Senate and lower house of parliament both voted heavily in favor of the bill on Tuesday, which had previously been partially approved in November before the Senate sent it back to a committee to clarify ambiguities.’
President Sebastian Pinera has also endorsed the bill and is expected to sign it soon. He is expected to leave office in March.
This is cause for all Chilean society to celebrate.
Not only will people who have a same-sex relationship be able to marry, but hundreds of children and adolescents will get recognition for their two mothers or two fathers.
Isabel Amor, executive director of equality group Iguales.
‘Chile will elect a new president on Dec. 19, choosing between progressive Gabriel Boric and social conservative Jose Antonio Kast, a practicing Catholic. The two offer wildly different visions for the country’s future,’ Reuters writes.
Kast said he is not a fan of sodomite marriages, but would have signed it anyways based on the congressional verdict.

AUTHOR COMENTARY
Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
Jude 7
Yet another nation embraces the abomination of sodomy, and so they too will get even more judgment from the Lord, as they, along with the rest of South America – who has been embracing sodomy for some time now – will be destroyed.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

Hello brother jacob there is going to be a lockdown here in the netherlands again worse than the others they are saying.
i’m thinking about getting out of here not sure where to go tough it isn’t like australia at the moment but then again the netherlands was always later than most countries in europe when it comes to the whole fake virus thing since they want to let the citizens think that the netherlands is the safest country in the whole world
Thanks for letting me know. I heard Finland, I think it was, just joined the list for lockdowns. Europe is going to collapse faster than say America will. I would not know where to direct you to, but (and this is me spit-balling), if you are considering moving, perhaps Russia might be the way to go. All nations have major issues, but I think Russia’s sheer size would allow for more assimilation. Definitely something to pray about.
Russia is no longer communist and as one of your reports say, it’s freer than most other nations. So, I’d check it out.
