MPs in Latvia will have their paychecks withheld and unable to participate in parliamentary votes, unless they can provide proof of vaccination or evidence that they have recovered from Covid-19.
This decision was made in the Latvian 100-seat parliament this past Friday, with the majority vote of 62, according to Euro News.
This will also effect local government bodies and politicians.
From November 15, an MP will be entitled to participate in the work of the Saeima [Latvia’s Parliament] only if he or she has presented an interoperable COVID-19 certificate confirming the fact of vaccination or illness.
The payment of a monthly salary and compensation will be suspended for a Saeima MP who will not be entitled to participate in the work of the parliament.
The official press release from the parliament states
The nation is now beginning to end a one month lockdown, where all ‘non-essential stores’ were shut off to the public, except for private gatherings between one household families. Moreover, a curfew from 8:00 PM to 5AM is still enforced for the time.
Beginning this week, the nation will enter a “green mode,” with different rules affecting the vaccinated and the unvaccinated.
Of Latvia’s 1.9 million population, only 53.6% is vaccinated – below the EU average of 64.9%.
AUTHOR COMMENTARY
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
Proverbs 29:2
Want an easier time passing draconian laws, and steamrolling over the people you claim to “represent?” Just silence and blackball all those who wont tow the line.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

At least Latvian politicians have some common sense and to say no to these deadly shots of witchcraft!
