Coke will also award the bonus to employees who receive medical or religious exemptions before the deadline.

The following report is from Fortune:

The Coca-Cola Co. says it will give workers a one-time $2,000 bonus if they are fully vaccinated before the U.S. government’s Dec. 8 deadline.

It’s the biggest push yet by the Atlanta-based soda giant to encourage its employees to protect themselves. The reasoning isn’t entirely altruistic; Coke is facing a deadline of its own.

Because Coke sells its products in national parks, military bases, and other U.S. government buildings, it falls under the broad swath of Biden’s federal vaccine mandate. The company has 8,500 employees throughout the U.S., but has not said how many of those are vaccinated at present.

Federal employees and contractors do not have the option to do weekly COVID-19 testing, as private businesses do.

If the $2,000 bonus is the carrot, Coca-Cola has not yet shown the stick. The company has not announced what will happen to employees who refuse to comply with the mandate. (Coke will also award the bonus to employees who receive medical or religious exemptions before the deadline.)

President Joe Biden began the process of requiring private businesses with at least 100 employees to put vaccine mandates in place in September. OSHA, which oversees the order, called an emergency temporary standard, would have the power to fine businesses up to $13,600 per violation.

While Dec. 8 might seem far away, the time frame to meet that deadline is tight. The mandate requires employees to be fully vaccinated, which is typically considered two weeks after the vaccine dose is administered. That would mean the second dose must be received by Nov. 24, 2021.

People who get a Pfizer or Moderna vaccine will need to factor in the necessary time for two doses, as well as the recommended waiting period between doses. For Pfizer, that’s 21 days. For Moderna, it’s 28 days.

[14] But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. [15] Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

James 1:14-15

If you didn’t die from the pop, you’ll surely die from the shot! Yeah right: like $2k will be worth anything, especially in comparison to one’s life.

Assuming Coke starts laying people off because of this, then the media will whine about a Coke shortage, and all the beached whales will belly-ache. During the summer of 2020 there was a shortage of Dr. Pepper, and the masses were frustrated. And even Coke had to shorten some of its product line to cut costs.

Every week I go to my local grocery store to see who’s buying what, and each week the pop aisle will be restocked. I’ll come back a few days and it will have been ransacked. The masses cannot stop eating and drinking their poison. So even if some “brave hearts” want to resist the death job, they’ll die off soon enough without their sugar rush and pharmaceuticals to keep them going.

  • This deadline date of December 8 is a Roman Catholic high holy day…..the feast of the “Immaculate Conception”….not when Our Lord was conceived, but when their “sinless” Mary was supposedly conceived. These devils recently pulled off another one of their stunts on this same day, but I cannot recall offhand what it was. The only reason I remember this feast is because I got in a lot of trouble on this day when I was around 10 or 11 years old sneaking off to “Mass”, thinking I was doing the right thing, even leaving a note to my mom to tell her where I was and instead dealing with her anger, when she pulled me out of the service, telling me it was the “worse thing I ever did”. The good news is I listened to her and was forever sour against that institution. Thanks, mom for ending all the brainwashing I got when you sent me to the parochial school that filled me up with that garbage in the first place. I still smile when I think of that day. A good lesson on Roman Catholic inconsistency that set me on a better path.

  • No more coke! No more Coke Zero, not even Dasani, which is owned by Coca Cola! Our bodies were not created to intake ten tablespoons of sugar in a 12 oz. can, that’s suicide by soda.
