Austrian Government Will Lockdown ONLY The Unvaccinated

With fears of rising Covid cases, the Austrian government is now laying out a new “step-by-step plan” to contain the reported cases.

These new mandates, according to ORF.at – an Austrian news outlet – says the new plans include harshly penalizing the unvaccinated, by forcing those unvaccinated into isolation if intensive care units rise above 30% capacity.

[The] pandemic is not yet visible in our rear-view mirror. We are on the verge of stumbling into a pandemic of the unvaccinated.

Furthermore, he explained that these new lockdown measures would not affect those that have been vaccinated.

The health minister expressed similar sentiment:

The new steps mainly affect people without vaccination protection.

The Steps Forward

This is all part of a 5-plan system to curb cases and death in Austria.

The first three steps have remained the same from previous announcements. If 200 beds are occupied in intensive cares units, then face coverings are required for grocery stores, public transportation, and pharmacies. For other stores, only the unvaccinated have to wear masks.

The Austrian news outlet explains, ‘Stricter regulations already apply in Vienna and Salzburg, where the FFP2 mask is mandatory in all retail outlets. For events of 25 people or more, the “3-G rule” has been in effect since mid-September (previously only for 100 people or more). In level one, antigen tests are only valid for 24 hours for a “3-G” test (instead of the previous 48 hours). Like before, PCR tests can be used for 72 hours. In Vienna, however, there are stricter requirements in this area than in the rest of Austria: Antigen tests are not valid (except for children under twelve years of age). The PCR test is only valid for 48 hours (72 hours for children under the age of twelve).’

The government said that they assume the nation will be heading into step two within a week or so. This means that one 300 ICU beds are in use, then a 2-G rule will be instigated, with assigned seating for places with more than 500 people, as nighttime eateries and pubs will effected, and at home antigen testing will no longer be enough to visit “3-G” designated areas.

‘If there is an occupancy rate of 20% (400 beds), then level three comes into force. In areas with “3-G”, the antigen test is completely invalid in this phase. This means that only those who have been vaccinated, those who have recovered and people with a current PCR test would have access to restaurants and the like. What has been new since Friday is that this measure takes effect immediately when the limit value is exceeded. The seven-day waiting period previously envisaged is no longer applicable,’ the outlet goes on to detail.

The fourth phase really tightens up the restrictions, when are 500 ICU beds occupied. This rule prohibits all unvaccinated persons from entering a restaurant, sporting event, hotel, leisure institutions, public events, and more. Moreover, even if an unvaccinated person presents a negative PCR or antigen test, it will be ignored.

The government is still working out the details, but hinted that this may also affect ‘body-hugging service providers’ like a hair salon, where a “3-G’ certificate is required.

The final fifth phase is enacted when 600 ICU bed occupancy is exceeded. This means the unvaccinated will be forced to stay in their private living arrangements, and can only leave for shopping, work, or in ‘exceptional cases.’

Austria has slightly less than 65% people currently considered “fully vaccinated,” according to Our World in Data. This would mean that approximately 3,176,00 people would be ordered to isolate, if a stage-five mandate was implemented expediently.

How much more insane is this going to go get? A lot more, unfortunately. Talk about supply chain issues – when 3 million people are hypothetically forced to stay home. But with huge numbers like that, I doubt it will be hard to enforce, unless of course the Austrian are total pushovers. You Austrians need to band together and resist this garbage!

Many of the reports that are coming out about this do not go into detail about their five-steps to insanity, so I wanted to make sure I covered some of it – to show how retarded it is.
