Salt for many-many years has been under the crosshairs of the medical authorities, family doctors and physicians, and the media. And now the FDA is upping the pressure against sodium chloride.

But more specifically, the FDA is singling out sodium – though many will use salt and sodium interchangeably – as they blame and attribute sodium to cause high blood pressure.

Furthermore, their line of reasoning – as the typical doctor would say – is the majority of sodium you consume comes from processed and packaged foods. Therefore, they are working with companies to gradually reduce sodium in products over the next couple of years.

Because about 70% of the sodium you eat comes from processed (packaged) foods and restaurant foods, the FDA is working closely with industry, asking manufacturers to gradually lower sodium across a wide range of foods. This will result in more food choices with less sodium. 

You and your family can also take steps to ease into reducing the amount of salt—and therefore, sodium—you eat. The recommended limit for sodium is 2,300 milligrams (mg) per day for people 14 years and older. But people in the U.S. consume 3,400 mg per day on average!

On top, the FDA says that too much sodium leads to higher blood pressure and heart diseases. “Moreover, children and adolescents are also eating too much sodium. Evidence shows that children who eat foods higher in sodium can carry those eating habits into adulthood,” the FDA states.

Dr. Peter Lurie, president of the Center for Science in the Public Interest, has been calling for sodium regulations for some time.

If it turns out that the impact is not what we would hope, I think it’s back to the drawing board, and mandatory cuts are on the table.

However, there are others who could not disagree more with the FDA’s and status quo of the medical recommendations. As a matter of fact, they would contend that we need much greater amounts of salt than recommended.

For example, “Health Coach Kait” presents a succinct video explaining why we need more salt in our daily diets, noting it’s key for bodily functions that are often overlooked. Moreover, being that sodium and chloride are two electrolytes, Kait points out the irony of regulators and doctors saying to reduce salt intake, but is recommended in athletic performance and products.

Other doctors such as Dr. Eric Berg contend that having increased salt will actually decrease the risk for heart attacks. On top of that, he notes the difference between real and healthy salts – such as Sea Salt or Pink Himalayan – versus the genetically modified salts such as monosodium glutamate (MSG) found in fast foods and generic boxed and frozen meals at many grocery stores. He also notes, as does Kait, the importance of salt in conjunction with other minerals and electrolytes such as Potassium and Magnesium.

If you have not figured it out yet, the dietary and health guidelines are completely wrong and absurd. The only thing they get right is the reduction of sugar in people’s diets, but everything else are total lies.

Moreover, the utter hypocrisy of these “health” institutions is astounding: instead of pointing the finger at the frequency of eating, less exercise and movement, less sunlight, high carbohydrates, nutrient depleted foods, artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, and ingredients; chemicals and toxins (that are illegal in many other nations), other GMO’s, and so on and so forth; rather, things like salt, cholesterol, saturated fats, and many other things are blamed.

That’s another reason why I liked how Kait pointed out this paradox that salt is bad for regular diets, but then is promoted and recommended for basic athletic performance. It’s insanity! Whenever I workout, I also make sure to get a large dose of Pink Himalayan salt in my body before I start (along with other nutrients, of course).

Here’s a rule of thumb: by and large, do the dead opposite of what these governing health officials say to do, if you want to be in optimum health. I have dropped three shirt and pant sizes, and a shoe size, by doing the opposite of the status quo. And what is even MORE astounding is when the great results come in, you will get family and doctors that will claim you are UNHEALTHY! Now that is a brainwashed billy goat indeed!

  • This really strikes a chord with me because of all the people I know who followed a salt-restricted diet for years, opting for blood pressure medication instead. My mother and a recently-deceased person from a babel building I used to attend and tried to warn come to mind, but there are so many more. The correct kind of salt lowers blood pressure and actually claims to clear arteries. BP medication, I found out too late to help my mother, clogs arteries, and in my mother’s case, it took her out suddenly and without much warning. Forget about the white, iodized garbage they sell in the store, manufactured by the same company who supplied faulty bearings to the “doomed’ space shuttle. Now I wonder what the actual story was behind all that. SEA SALT supplies the sodium and approx. 70 other essential minerals that work together for glucose transport from cell to cell. I had to relearn this from a Seventh Day Adventist woman naturopath, although I vaguely recall some science texts mentioning the important role of salt, without going into details of the other minerals needed. Do the tests yourself. Take an initial blood pressure reading. Then take a few pinches of a good quality sea salt and take your blood pressure about 15-20 minutes later. Do this 2 hours before or after you ingest any pharmaceutical if you are still taking them. As far as sea salt clearing arteries, I only know that before using it, it would take a longer amount of time for that pint of blood the Red Cross takes when you donate to collect. After using sea salt for a while, I noticed the next donate session time was strikingly less. So I assume that means the blood is flowing more efficiently through clearer arteries. This is entirely my experience, and I am not saying it will work for anyone else. I won’t go near those places now, but my last blood donation was just when this Covid garbage started up two years ago, when they were not requiring any kind of PCR test or nasal swab. They may still operate the same way, but I decided not to be in close proximity to anything in a white lab coat, even though the Red Cross staff seemed decent enough at the time. Nibbling on a little sea salt also seems to make hunger pangs subside and I can even skip a few meals without any problem, freeing up time for other pursuits besides meal prep and cleaning up afterward. So after all this, I now immediately suspect anything the medical mafia says is bad for you is actually good for you, and vice versa. This is also the case with their dictates on decreasing dietary fat, something I just decided long ago to ignore. So far, no gall bladder attacks, as many women my age who take what the white coat says to be gospel, that I know of personally, have been through already. Additionally, because of the clogged up medical system and wait time, I never got any doctor’s permission on any health regimen I wanted to try out right away. I’ve also learned a few tricks that have enabled me to stay away from the dentist’s chair for the last 3 years. Again, so far, so good. God has protected me with discernment and alternatives to the advice coming from people we now know are harming us, whether intentionally or because they have been brainwashed themselves.

  • The government or USDA recommending dietary plans is bad news! Granted too much salt could be bad, but it’s not the biggest enemy: the real boogeyman is sugar and carbs which metabolize into sugar!
    Reminds me of the fat free/low fat craze which began in the late 70s and ended in like 2004-ish, as a result of that retarded craze, obesity skyrocketed! Fat free and low fat diet’s grade: F.

    • Another thing to keep in mind that I learned from a book titled “Wheatbelly” is that wheat produces a higher glycemic index score than sugar after it’s been ingested. Someone tampered with the wheat and hybridized it so that it does not grow as tall as wheat used to grow. This prevents crop failure from severe rains that toppled the original, more vulnerable taller wheat. This happened in the 60s and 70s and it went worldwide with a few exceptions, probably in Africa. That is why gluten and celiac disease were not household words until perhaps the 90s when the hybridized wheat effects came home to roost. The doctor who wrote the book suggested everyone should be on a wheat-free regimen, whether they have a gluten problem or not. Others are even more radical and suggest an entirely grain-free diet. I’m not giving up on oatmeal, but I have eliminated wheat (with a few relapses), and no diabetes yet either. Explains why all those old time photos of the 30s , 40s, and 50s show someone’s younger skinny grandparents or parents. The generations after that look a little fatter In their photos. Plus, bread was at one time always baked using iodine until some unknown directive came about and bromine was substituted for iodine, which plays a crucial role in thyroid health and metabolism.

  • No doubt the life-giving benefits of whole salt, whole foods as God created them, natural ferments & so forth hinder what the not-a-vaccine is supposed to do. One would think that the electrolytes would mess with the magnetism, too, relating with signaling, energy & passing mitochondrial charge between & within the cells.

    I’ve been giving that more thought reviewing Brave New World and 1984. They both discussed the use of drugs, and psych-manipulation, sub-conscious, subliminal ‘sleep-learning’ through repeated mantras from the ‘Ministry of Truth’ and such things. That can be achieved through the altered brain alpha wave patterns that visual mediums like television, theater, any ‘screen’ passtime linked with entertainment, relaxation….and inserting whatever ‘desired change’ might be rationally resisted by the sober minded.

    But that could be immensely compounded by ignorance of God’s word, disconnect from reality & isolation, drugging or otherwise debilitating rational thought (autism connection an experiment?), and finally by subliminal or audible messaging via the 5g and 6g networks….potentially connecting directly with the magnetic electric component of the shot so that it would be internal & inescapable.

    With regard to the airlines, though the media censors, the word gets around in the industry when things like pilots dying on tarmac or in-flight, at home; as well as stewards/stewardesses dropping dead & not reporting within days of second shot….of embolism & heart issues, kidney failure etc. begin multiplying. Fire departments reporting uptick in vaccine related emergency responses, as well.

    Though the class of people involved in those industries is rarely ‘Christian’ in the biblical sense, mostly sorted out as the antichrist compromises increased in order to enter or remain in those jobs: they do tend to be educated & health conscious with regard to the flesh.

    Even the highly promiscuous & often sodomite….as many stewards/stewardesses…. are very educated in ‘health’, supplementation, and as they call them ‘hacks’; as well as political activism, & psych manipulations to get around the natural stigma & consequences of their ‘superior’ sin by their ‘superior’ knowledge. Very Greek which is often used interchangeably with Gentile in the New Testament.

    • People living in the cities may not notice, especially if they live near a hospital as I once did, but I have noticed many more ambulances and fire/rescue squads rumbling down the rural road where I live now. This seemed to start up when the summer months came along this year. This is not a main road either, so they are responding to a cluster of homes in a very small area. I used to read the comments on a neighborhood watch site, and the paranoia and germaphobe hysteria was at fever pitch when the lockdowns first occurred. So it only figures many people rushed to get in line for that jab when the opportunity came along. Now the piper is being paid, and this is just the slow start, I think. What you mentioned about the salt and electrolytes perhaps interfering with the “not vaccines” is interesting, considering most public beaches and ocean swimming across the nation were closed during the first lockdowns. Can’t get a better saline solution than ocean water, and paramedics have used it in the past if they were dealing with a heart attack victim on the beach.
