With all of the hard measures put in place by the Australian governments, many Aussies are still reluctant to get vaccinated.
In an attempt to envy others to get vaccinated, one lucky person could win $1 million dollars, courtesy of the Million Dollar Vax Alliance – a group of philanthropists and corporations who seek to increase the vaccination rate in Australia, 7 News Australia explains – though the businessmen contend it is to simply reward those that have been vaccinated.
Over $4.1 million in prizes will also be awarded, with $1000 gift cards.
The purpose of the promotion is not to convince people to be vaccinated.
That’s a decision you should make in consultation with a health professional.
The promotion simply seeks to reward people who decide to be vaccinated now rather than waiting, so that we can reduce the community impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The faster we reach higher vaccination rates nationally, higher than 80%, the sooner we all can safely resume our full range of community and business activity.
Craig Winkler of the Million Dollar Vax Alliance
Those that already, or scheduled to be vaccinated, are eligible to enter.
The Australian outlet notes that this lottery programmed was emulated from the U.S. state of Ohio – the first state to initiate a million dollar lottery raffle, which lead to other states to do something identical.

[10] My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not. [11] If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause: [12] Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit: [13] We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil: [14] Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse: [15] My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path: [16] For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood. [17] Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird. [18] And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives. [19] So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.Proverbs 1:10-19
I find it interesting this lottery was initiated after the NSW tyrant Gladys was rushed out of there. Perhaps they are trying to get the masses not as focused on that?

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

I Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
The blood clots, complications, and eventual death won’t be worth the million they get from the lottery nor will it benefit their families much once they’re dead.
Proverbs 13:11 Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.
My first concepts of what lotteries entail came from a bizarre short story I read called “The Lottery” by Shirley Jackson. She got it right…..hurray for the power of negative thinking. Too bad Australia is picking up the bad habits of Ohioans. One lottery player from Ohio I knew ended up living in his car because he could not get a handle on his gambling problem, much, if not all, of which was spent on lottery tickets. The politician who brought the lottery to the state of Ohio was (and is still alive last time I checked) a graduate of Notre Dame College in Illinois. Before that time (circa 1974), lotteries were called “the numbers racket” and open to a visit from law enforcement’s “bunko” vice squads. The house always wins…..lottery participants are the losers, and now the stakes are pretty high if it ultimately costs one’s life to play this game.
Ooooooops…..University of Notre Dame in INDIANA. My excuse is it is 4 in the morning and I did not have my coffee yet, lol
Hand over the coffee and nobody gets hurt lol
I never did have that cup of coffee yesterday. Coffee has its good points, but I’d really like to break the one-cup-a-day habit and maybe make it one cup a week.
