The fear is rising again, and it shows…

More panicked Americans are emptying the shelves of toilet paper, again.

According to a Wall Street Journal report, the largest manufacturer of paper towels and toilet paper, Proctor & Gamble Co., is ramping up production due to increased demand. This is in the midst of when some retailers are reporting that that company is limiting their supply to stores

Factories for Charmain toilet paper and Bounty paper towels are literally operating 24/7 to increase shipping volumes, says a spokeswoman for the P&G, but did not comment on limited supply being sent to stores.

The WSJ report notes that sales in these paper products have been largely down these past months as Americans had built up a supply. The current situation is not quite as bad to the initial pandemonium in March of 2020, citing industry data, retailers, and manufacturers.

‘Paper products, which include paper towels and toilet paper, were 86% in stock as of Aug. 29, according to data from market-research firm IRI. That is a lower in-stock rate than consumer products on average, but nowhere near the height of last year’s toilet paper shortage when paper products were just 40% in stock,’ according to the report.

Meticulous and extra cleaning habits are still present since 2020, which is why shelves are not as packed as they once were. Furthermore, P&G also explained they believe government stimulus, back-to-school spending, and a rise in reported Covid cases are the reasons why sales are picking up in America.

Retailers have said the shortages have gotten better than they once were, but are struggling to receive a variety of sizes and brands. Coupled with shortages in raw materials and supply-chain conundrums, many supermarkets still have not seen their orders completely fulfilled.

The report cites one owner of a grocery store in Massachusetts, who says “Customers are asking a lot of questions,” and fears that more shortages could trigger a rise in panic buying.

I don’t think we fully recovered from when the supply chain got a massive hit.

Arthur Ackles of Roche Bros., the owner of the MA grocery store chain

Food City in the southern states have been stocking paper products from smaller suppliers to avoid leaving craters on the shelves.

We fill them with whatever we’ve got.

Steve Smith. Chief Executive for Food City

Sales are up 7% for the past four weeks from the same period last year.

SpartanNash Co., more geared towards the Midwest, said they are also seeing a rise in sales of paper products, and is maintaining a “safety stock.”

The report goes onto note that cleaning products, such as sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer are also rising and continues to sell, as the factories are busily trying to keep pace as they fly off the shelves.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7

These types of reports just continue to demonstrate how asinine-backwards the masses’ heads are. It demonstrates just how scared they really are. Forget what the political pundits and talking heads in the media say: look at the numbers of what people are buying and what they keep in their homes. That tells the story. I am not saying you should go dumpster diving like a kleptomaniac, but if you observe what they throw out and bring in, paints a picture of their lives a bit.

But seeing how absolutely nonsensical the people are anymore (and have been), expect these numbers and supply chain issues to go to the moon when the die-off starts to really kick in and lockdowns are reinstated.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • I first heard this so called joke of the “toilet paper wars,” (I survived the great toilet paper wars) I say to all that “SHUT UP!!!” What a bunch of nonsense that is! It’s the strong delusion brought onto a wicked vile cruel religious hypocritical and PRIDEFUL nation that has spit in God’s face while simultaneously falsely proclaiming to be a “christian” nation, and Jesus (yes, JESUS) has finally had enough!

  • So if there is a TP shortage… you guys are not going to stock up?

What will you do, use leaves? Or dollars?

Yes, please let everyone know what your suggestion is that we should all do if some commodity is in short supply!

    • Take Liz’s advice and invest in a bidet. I guess worst extreme case scenario: your left hand (wash wash wash of course lol) like in some cultures hence why shaking hands with your left hand is seen as an insult, or use an old t-shirt or a sock. I guess improvising is going to be big.

    • In Filipino culture, we use a ‘tabo’ to maintain hygiene and keep our bottoms clean. Way more efficient than using toilet paper, and it cleans better too. All that’s needed is a small bucket, water, and technique; it sounds crazy, but it’s been tried and true for many generations.

  • I was seeing & receiving pop-ups and mass email clickbaits about ‘what to buy for the next shortage’…..and I refused to bite: but, I confess, I thought it would be something different this time. : – )

And I always keep a stocked pantry & have plenty of extra washcloths & clean recycled cleaning rags about…lol! It sustained us through the first covid. I suppose the Mullain in the herb garden, Dad always called it ‘Indian toilet paper’ & I was late to learn of its benefit for the lungs, could stand in in a real pinch! Anything but poison ivy or nettles, and that much ‘nature knowledge’ is good for anybody to know…lol.

It’s a family joke about how I’m too cheap to buy paper towels or Kleenex (why when you can wash & re-use the cloth ones?…one time that bleach might actually be called for maybe? if you’re not an either-or terrain-theory cultist anyways…lol) The impatience over my using a steamer or the oven instead of the microwave, and only degradable paper plates was real, too….but at least my home-schooled daughter read enough science & Bible to be shame-faced & convicted recognizing the reasons for the ‘weirdness’ & the ‘boring’ slowness. The pace & noise of this world today leaves little time or space for speaking to one another with hymns, songs or spiritual songs….or meditating on the word or praying.

Women who were keepers at home worked hard, but they also had some benefits largely lost to the triple-quadriple ‘multi-tasking’. (I remember reading ‘The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People’ when I was lost. It occurred to me the other day that there’s no mistake that was written by a Mormon, nor that they are such huge proponents of transhumanism. Do you think they’re invested in Kimberly Clark? as well as Pfizer etc?) …. She’s not pushing or taking the vaccine either, so there’s hope of final victory over that ‘friends’ thing for the Friend she really needs. Sigh.

Does that make me a bad normie, a muggle or something now? I just always figured it met I’d read the book of Proverbs & believed my grandparents when they spoke about the Depression set-up, & that it was not wise to believe everything you’re told, especially by wealthy & power-hungry people, & those who think they’re wise.
If my public school ‘education’ had really ‘took’, & otherwise, I’d be just like those poor panic-stricken, peer-dependent humanists living in fear & without hope ….including the ones that call themselves ‘Christian’ in the loose ecumenical and Unitarian sense. Lost, & in need of mercy & grace in a graceless, ‘karmic’ world.

The psych-sorcerers & ‘activists’ turning out ‘revolutionaries’ are ramping that up now & twisting, defiling, breaking & ‘conditioning’ minds at ever earlier ages. They use seductive propaganda to hook us in our fleshly sins & weaknesses, & turn us against one another within our natural families, & in the greater spiritual family of God. And I’m not saying it doesn’t require much discernment these days, since they’ve made such advances, nor that folks should put family before God. Just that it should be acknowledged, & then perhaps more effectively countered.

They made it harder to witness with their confounding of God’s word with the per-versions, by psychologizing & reinterpreting the scriptures, & gradually detaching folks from the true measure through which the Spirit works to save, call & refine….and though the public schools were never truly neutral (nothing is)….they are now actively antichrist & on the offensive. Along with all the other institutions of man, it seems.

Among other things, as you know, they are currently teaching the unsaved that refusal to compromise & contentment is laziness, pride,& ‘rebellion’; that compromise is ‘humble’; independence of thought & soul is the real pride, and any show of compassion is just a trick, an attempt to use someone or to puff self-righteousness so someone can feel better about themselves. These people think they’re being ‘mama bears’ fighting for their families, among other things….and it’s sad how the devils twists and trips people up in their thinking & sin.

Our task is to point them to Christ, & to point out they’re not only being led to react without thought to be exploited & used, but led as tools to exploit & use others. Led to act like beasts without souls & choice. That toilet paper is MINE! (This could become a real problem in open carry states….and the solution to these crises is…???)

  • I keep a good store of food, TP, vitamins, natural medicines, and such at all times. As cost and availability keep becoming an issue, it just makes sense. I do need to order some low cost KJV Bibles to have around to give away when the time comes. I keep listening for a sound!
