St. George Bank, a large bank based in Sydney, Australia, recently suffered a glitch in the systems that completely drained thousands of accounts to a zero balance, while others were charged additional fees of thousands of dollars.
Last weekend the Bank posted on Twitter acknowledging a glitch that caused many people’s accounts to have a balance of $0.00.
Later in the day they claimed the issues were resolved. But on Wednesday, the 29th of August, more technical errors occurred that prevented up-to-date balances to appear.
We are also aware some customers have had an issue with their account balance not updating to reflect their recent transaction history.
This is a separate matter which we are working on. We have fixed the issue for new transactions and are continuing to work through the backlog of impacted transactions as a priority.
The bank told 7NEWS.com.au.
Thousands have complained that they have been left without a single cent. On top of that, ‘transaction histories hitting others’ have been a problem.
One single mother with 5 children – one who is 4 weeks old – was stuck at home unable to buy groceries or gas because her account was wiped clean.
Over a dozen customers told the local news outlet that their accounts were being debited without record of transaction or explanation.
Another woman in Sydney said she had funds deducted from the account only to be added back in. This happened twice, and the balance still showed $0.00 even though there definitely was money in the account.
After spending 147 minutes on the phone with the bank, she was “suddenly” disconnected.
Others were not able to accept or provide payments.
Understandably, many customers have been furious.
Some other angry customers responded with:
I don’t see why you’re telling people the situation is rectified when it absolutely is not. Thousands of people are in the same boat, we can’t all be wrong.
I spoke to four people and took three hours and 33 mins to tell me it’s my fault. Just not right in any sense. There are a lot of people who rely on every cent they have and keep a close watch on their accounts and know what’s pending and what’s not.
This is ridiculous, woke up to $0 again and I haven’t spent anything!
You trust banks with your money not for them to leave your account at a $0 balance!
Still happening! 7 days without access to my own money! And no update since Monday! Absolutely disgusting!

This is why I have stated to keep the absolutely bare minimum in your debit accounts for online purchases and business. Do not keep cash, retirement, savings, safety deposit boxes, etc., in there. The same applies for cryptocurrencies. All it takes is something likes this to occur, and then your entire portfolio could be erased. All ‘they’ to do is hypothetical press ‘delete.’

You know, Mitchell, your comment reminded me of Isaiah 59 and their final end (we can also be encouraged, & strengthened by Psalm 73, 82 etc). I searched my Bible to doublecheck the passage reference, searching ‘web’, & found more.
In Job 8 there is the partial understanding of Bildad the Shuhite who errs & joins the cause of the Accuser of the Brethren in his ‘help’ & speech to Job in his suffering trial. It sounds good & right. Job 8:14 Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust shall be a spider’s web. Just out of order & presuming, not rightly dividing nor a workman approved. Reminds you of the proud, the prosperity folks & the kingdom builders…the ‘positive’ only thinkers who close their eyes to suffering or attempt to explain it all by karmic philosophy to look wise while justifying their own selves, & to avoid facing the fear of suffering, death & the curse that touches even the most righteous of fallible men.
Such people hate passages like Psalm 73 and Hebrews 12, too.
But what really got me was the reference to the web in the account of Samson, the Nazirite, the last judge of Israel before Samuel where the change to rule by kings, like the world, came in. Judges 16. We know from the full account that Samson was careless & lax in the keeping of himself & his separation. God preserved him for his name’s sake, & his word, for those who believed & who would believe, but he was sensual, and he was a type. Like Solomon he had a weakness for pagan women, & he disobeyed the Law of Moses eating honey from the carcass of the slain lion.
Think about that. Study the typology of honey & lion through the scriptures, just search the words & read the verses, & surrounding passages. What a type of the unclean, corrupted scriptures & those careless, ignorant feeding their mind-soul and heart on them. (You could also equate it with the Jews from whom the Lion of Judah & the true & incorruptible, preserved scriptures came….scattered & dead, yet preserved in a body, an identifiable group. The picture of Ezekiel 37….and what a study comes with that of ‘bones’ through the Bible! 99x, including Ephesians 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.)
Anyways, with regard to the web. Samson thought of his strength, which was a gift of God for service to himself & his called out, peculiar people, preserving the line of the foretold Seed of the woman & setting apart a peculiar people to himself: his inheritance ….marked due to his dedication to God as a Nazirite as his parents had been instructed by the angel of the LORD…& no doubt instructed him (Judges 13)….he thought lightly of it, & took it for granted.
He’d seemingly gotten away with so much.
He didn’t faithfully represent God & besides fornications, he played lying games with Delilah who was after the ‘secret’ of his power & blessing, but not godliness. Genesis 3, Isaiah 14 & Ezekiel 28 ….the kernel of occultism & any other way save that of truth & the only living, holy God.
She was an intermediary, a crony, of an elite devilish ruling craft. A self-serving, unfaithful consort, a tool …..of tools….all of whom were being deceived & used of Satan by the hooks of their sin as Romans 1 & James 1 clarifies for us. Satan is a master merchandiser. Ezekiel 28. The blind leading the blind….the deceiving & being deceived. For ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. There is NONE righteous, no, not one.
She pressed him daily, urging him with her words, so that his soul was vexed unto death. The angel of the LORD told Manoah’s wife, Samson’s mother, that he would be a Nazirite set apart from the womb, that no razor should come upon his head, & that he would begin to deliver Israel from the Philistines. (King David finally did that.)
And, remember Lot? He put himself in a position of being vexed, too. And there is something of deliverance there, too, when you compare scripture with scripture. 2 Peter 2:7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
Well, Samson was entertained by Delilah, & he toyed with her superstitious idolatry from a position of assumed strength rather than confronting her sin & ending the entertainment. Lots of men blather on about the Jezebel spirit while causing & conditioning more Jezebel’s with their self-serving Ahab-style suffering of them, & their short-sighted, self-serving use of them & refusal to separate themselves from them as Samson & Solomon.
Tie me with green ropes etc….which reminds one of the ‘hair of the dog that bit you’ and such things, though there may be a biblical significance there with those things that I don’t understand yet. God doesn’t waste words. But then he spoke of the seven locks of his unshorn hair & the web…and he was very near destruction.
She wove his hair, the visible, peculiar sign of his partial obedience into the web. But when he awoke, he got up and took the web with him. Is whorish ecumenical Laodicea & Rome, with the Jews, not going to be the ‘victor’ of the Ezekiel 38 war? And by some supernatural intervention of God? Will they not presume, & receive the man coming in his own name? There is something there with Judges 13 & Revelation 13.
Considering also: The prophecy of Jacob concerning Dan. Dan meaning judge. The fact that Dan is not listed in the number of the Jews sealed by tribe in Revelation 7, but the half-tribes of Joseph’s sons Manasseh & Ephraim are. The rest of the confusion of Israel under the judges in the book of Judges concern Dan, Manasseh & Ephraim, & an unfaithful sellout of a Levite priest from Bethlehem, Judah….and all the ugly fallout with a Levite & a concubine from Bethlehem, Judah…sodomites in Gibeah, Benjamin where she died at their hands….and the almost annihilation of the tribe of Benjamin when the tribes united against such gross sin & lack of repentance on Benjamin’s part.
(Have you heard the sermon ‘Ten Shekels & a Shirt’ preached by Paris Reidhead? Powerful truth. Gut-wrenching honesty. Or Dr. Law and Dr. Grace by Lester Rolloff? They were mere fallible men, but they knew the holy God & his word from the King James Bible which alone can pierce the veil of humanist presumption & sin. And those sermons pierced me to the heart & pointed me to the word of God rather than men or self as my guide & proving of spirits. It’s all about Christ who alone is worthy, & about dying to self….being a living sacrifice freely offered, joining him in his death, taking up our crosses to follow him. Some come to their senses realizing that sooner or later, & some, most sadly & without excuse given the light of truth, conviction & the light of conscience….the law written on their hearts: never at all. He is the source & the end, the Alpha and Omega, not a mere means for us to use to our ends as a rod, a tool or crafted idol. 2 Timothy 3:5 KJB Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.)
In Judges 18 we see they set up the resulting idol at the Tabernacle at Shiloh where it remained until God destroyed it with Eli’s unfaithful sons. (It’s instructive what their sins entailed, and when compared with Jeremiah 7 & 44; Ezekiel 8 ….we find the same old, same old & MYSTERY, the ‘G’ of the secret societies, their filthy initiations & their bloody oaths.) The root of bitterness bringing destruction. No wonder Israel thought they could use the very Ark of God as a ritual talisman bringing them power on their own terms.
See also Zechariah 5 (and an omer is the tenth part of an ephah…Deuteronomy 16 & Daniel 2; ephah also relating to a grandson of Abraham by Keturah), Revelation 18.
Compare also Ezekiel 38 and Judges 18, considering those people who live carelessly, & Laodicea; the justice of the peoples. 5 men, claiming the promises of God in Judges 18….going about it their own way & bringing death with 600 men, 600 men following the 5. Adding a hireling and his idols for ‘insurance’. (Reminds you of Jonadab’s subtil advice to Amnon, doesn’t it? ….and the warnings in Proverbs & James on the tongue. And so much more.)
And it goes downhill from there. But, back to Samson in Judges 16 with Delilah. After taking the web with him, with the pin of the beam (reference to the ‘nail’? Judges 4 to that of Ezra 9 & Isaiah 22), his hair entangled & woven into it by the woman.
She still beguiles him, calls the Philistine lords, calls for ‘a man’ and ’caused’ him to shave off the seven locks of his head ….Judges 16:19 And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him.
Delilah was riding the beast, & a type of Judas. A lot of things come to mind. The man coming in his own name. The seven churches of Revelation 2&3, and Colossians 2. 2 signifying choice, warning of being separated from the head who is Christ. Revelation 13-18. Samson is given room for repentance though, and even as the people mock him in the temple of the Philistines, Dagon (the idol representing the demigod hybrid child of the Serpent, the Dragon…the fishgod)….he destroys the pillars holding them up, & they fall.
Some see Revelation 12 in this. He begins to deliver Israel from the Philistines as the angel of the LORD had foretold to Manoah & his wife. He does not complete it. As men lose the knowledge of God & their connection to his word, devil possession & supernatural things go on the rise with sin. I’m not so sure that all of the alien stuff is utterly bogus, or government tricks. I see some of it as fallen sons of God and stars making spiritual headway with men & women in power & drunk on it, these ‘aliens’ always giving antichrist Genesis 3 twists on the ‘secret knowledge’ they bring, appealing to the sin & flesh of men & women, involving blasphemies & fornications, promising a way of salvation & achieving immortality apart from bowing pride, acknowledging sin & the sovereignty & holiness of God (using sovereignty in the biblical sense…not the Augustinian philosophical sense).
Always promoting the antichrist unity religion, and called & accessed by occult means warned against & forbidden of God….like Stephen Greer and his group meditation ‘contacts’, pushing for ‘disclosure’, & the bizarre & evil things covertly going on in our government. (Speaking from the US which had biblical underpinnings with its Bill of Rights separating State and priest-craft, though the leaven of sin & the false ‘brotherhood of man’ under the Serpent-Dragon wisdom & false light [Genesis 3 & 11, 2 Corinthians 11, Revelation 17&18] was ever there, choice being real: come the furthest out of Romish European Babylon….the heirs of ancient craft of Babylon as evidenced historically via Pergamos & biblically Daniel 2, Rome being the 4th kingdom of two legs, East & West, down to the ten corrupt toes of ‘mingled seed’ spiritually & likely soon literally via craft & fornication of men & devils such as CRISPR & days of Noe….come furthest out by the power & grace of God via his Spirit & word faithfully preached, received & believed by even a minority to the new birth of God, before there arose generations doing what was right in their own eyes, and knowing not Joseph…..falling back to the old vomit & wallows, the old hierarchies, systems & cults of men…2 Peter 2&3).

Was he saved? He bowed all of his strength, though he did acknowledge it came of God; but he did it in vengeance for the putting out of his two eyes, & apparently not to the glory of God or to the honor of his name. Was it pertaining to the scriptures? Old & New Testaments, & the oracles of God being entrusted to the Jews, Law and Grace….the Law evidencing & pointing to the fulfillment, that of grace looking back? Yet it’s all of grace & faith, faith manifesting itself according to dispensation as with Abraham & the Patriarchs, including Job.
Was he speaking solely of the eyes of his flesh : 1Jo 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1Jo 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
Ultimately we all have to resolve such things between ourselves & God by the word. By the Word that word typifies & is inseparable from, also linked with seed, the spiritual typified by the physical & dna. Truth or a corruption of it, a lie. The seed of the Spirit or the seed of the serpent.
So, was Samson a type of Christ, or Antichrist, prophetically speaking? I’m thinking Antichrist, even as King Saul was, the more I learn of scripture. As things unfold we’ll know more, about that & the web of the prince of the power of the air, the device that will not cover them in the end….. but for now the just shall walk by faith, and faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
