FDA Fully Approves Pfizer Vaccine. Military Mandates It Immediately

This morning on August 23rd, 2021, the Food and Drug Administration finally gave their approval for Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine. This is the first Covid vaccine to transition out of ’emergency use’ to having formal approval status.

The ABC News report states, ‘The full approval indicates that Pfizer has shown enough effectiveness and safety data to meet the stringent Biologics License Application (BLA) requirements, which includes at least six months of safety data from a majority of the volunteers in a large, final stage clinical trial.’

Based on the longer-term follow-up data that we submitted, today’s approval for those aged 16 and over affirms the efficacy and safety profile of our vaccine at a time when it is urgently needed. Hundreds of millions of doses of our vaccine already have been administered in the U.S. since December 2020, and we look forward to continuing to work with the U.S. government to reach more Americans.

I am hopeful this approval will help increase confidence in our vaccine, as vaccination remains the best tool we have to help protect lives and achieve herd immunity.

The ABC report goes onto additionally state, ‘This prioritized review entailed government scientists pouring over hundreds of thousands of pages of safety and efficacy data at a rapid-fire pace, conducting meticulous inspections of Pfizer’s manufacturing process.’

Moreover, ABC notes that with the FDA’s approval now a reality, this will pave the way for more mandates and restrictions in the public and private sector. Some businesses and other state politicians and health authorities have waited to impose restrictions waiting for the greenlight from the FDA.

‘Federal, state and local health officials have also expressed optimism that full approval will help dissolve some of the lingering hesitancy around taking a shot that until now has been only authorized for emergency use — a forecast recent polling has also reflected,’ reports ABC.

Dr. Vivek Murthy, the U.S. Surgeon General, told ABC’s “This Week” this past Sunday that this approval may “tip” some of those cautious and hesitant to get the vaccine, and lead to more schools and jobs to enforce the vaccines.

Full approval could not come at a more important time, as the highly contagious Delta variant continues to drive up caseloads and deaths across the U.S. I am hopeful that full approval will address any remaining concerns and will move many people to a ‘yes’ on vaccination.

We recognize that for some, the FDA approval of COVID-19 vaccines may bring additional confidence and encourage them to get vaccinated, [and an approved vaccine meets] rigorous standards for safety, effectiveness, and quality.

Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are expected to get the same treatment soon as well.

Military Mandates

The WinePress noted on July 4th that U.S. Army would mandate the vaccine by September, which was the estimated timeframe for the Covid vaccine to get approval.

Upon this recent FDA approval, the military has officially mandated it, according to Military.com. John Kirby, a spokesman for the Department of Defense, said troops should expect updated guidance this week.

The health of the force is as always, our military and our civilian employees, families and communities, a top priority. These efforts ensure the safety of our service members and promote the readiness of our force, not to mention the health and safety of the communities around the country in which we live.

Kirby said during a Pentagon press conference Monday.

I think our sailors and Marines will understand that it’s, at this point, been deemed a mandatory readiness requirement. I don’t think we’re going to face significant resistance, frankly.

Kirby stated last week that troops could claim religious exemption, but that decision will be determined by the leaders of each individual branch. Those requesting such exemption will be mandated to undergo ‘counseling from a military physician, as well as their commander, to ensure that they are making “an informed decision.”‘

There is a religious exemption possibility for any mandatory vaccine, and there’s a process that we go through to counsel the individual both from a medical and from a command perspective about using a religious exemption.

We take freedom of religion and worship seriously, in the military. It’s one of the things that we sign up to defend. And so it’s something that’s done very carefully.

It was only a matter of time. And now it is here. And just like The WinePress have been saying for a while, the mandates and restrictions are about to come down hard and fast. Furthermore, Bryan Denlinger of King James Video Ministries made a good point recently, that Biden’s sloppy exit from Afghanistan is to get the troops back to America to prepare them for military in the streets. Also, to get the juiced up, too. Time will tell but I think he is correct.

On top of that, I have noted several times that because the conservative media has been planting subliminal messages in their reports for months – how the vaccines at the time had not received FDA approval – will be a trigger event to get more Republicans juiced up. We shall see what occurs, but I think we will see a spike in the conservatives getting the jab – the jab that has been claiming tens of thousands lives and millions of injuries, for un-isolated virus.
