Yesterday the Labor Department released the final wave of jobless claims for July. The numbers came in at another 385,000 people filing jobless claims, slightly down from the previous week – which was revised to 400,000 claims.
This brings the approximate numbers released by the Labor Department for the bulk of July to 1,564,000 people filing a jobless claim.
This would roughly fill 13.5 fully-packed University of Michigan football stadiums.
But the media and politicians cheered some new statistics today: the Wall Street Journal reports that the U.S. economy added 943,000 jobs, and the federal unemployment rate fell to 5.4% – believing this to be a sign that the economy is recovering and returning to levels of “normalcy” prior to 2020.
Shadow Stats, an alternative economic-statistic resource, maintains that the unemployment rate is around 25.4%, after factoring many other points of interest that the federal government does not.
ZeroHedge provides a breakdown of the jobs acquired in July.
- 380,000 in the leisure and hospitality sectors. (253,000 for food and drinking establishments, 74,000 in accommodations, and 53,000 in entertainment, arts, and recreation)
- 221,000 in local government education and 40k in private education
- 60,000 in professional and business services. (43,000 for technical services, and 20,000 for administrative and waste services)
- 50,000 for transportation and warehousing
- 39,000 jobs is membership associations and organizations, and laundry services
- 37,000 for healthcare
- 27,000 for manufacturing
- 24,000 in information (18k going to motion pictures and sound recording)
- 22,000 in financial activities, most going to real estate, leasing, and renting
- 7,000 for mining services
- 7,000 for misc. store retailers, 5,000 non-store retailers, and 14k for gasoline stations
- -34,000 for building materials and gardening stores
- -6,000 in retail trade
With all that considered, the United States of America has a net loss of at least over 621,000 jobs in just July alone.

The following is from the Trends Journal:
McDonald’s sold $5.9 billion worth of fast food in the second quarter, 57% more than 2020’s second quarter, the company reported.
Sales beat analysts’ forecast of $5.6 billion for the period.
Same-store sales for the quarter were 7% higher than in 2019’s Q2, with gains in U.S. business leading the increase.
Revenue increased due to greater take-out sales, a 6% menu price boost, and the public’s fondness for the chain’s new crispy chicken sandwich, McDonald’s said.
About 70% of McDonald’s dining rooms have reopened in the U.S., the company noted, and it expects to open the rest by Labor Day.
However, finding enough workers to reach that goal may be difficult, McDonald’s admitted in comments quoted by The Wall Street Journal.
The company and its franchisees have promised to increase pay and benefits to lure new employees and keep current ones.
The strength of the COVID virus’s delta variant could further complicate the struggle to staff outlets.
Restaurants’ stock prices softened last week as the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released new guidelines calling on vaccinated persons to be masked in areas of the country where a minority of people have received the stab.
McDonald’s share price fell 1.9% in 2108 July trading.
Also last week, Yum Brands, owner of KFC and Taco Bell fast-food chains, joined Coca-Cola and Pepsico in reporting better-than-expected sales in this year’s second quarter.
Revenues climbed 34 percent, year on year, to $1.6 billion, ahead of the $1.48 billion median forecast among economists surveyed by Factset. Digital orders ballooned by 35%.
Yum’s windfall was the result not only of strong consumer demand but also of the 603 new stores it opened in 62 countries during the quarter, including 522 new KFC outlets.
The company’s 50,000 restaurants worldwide are helping it spread the impact of inflation and spare consumers dramatic price increases, CEO David Gibbs said in comments quoted by the Associated Press.
TRENDPOST: America’s waistline is growing as fast as sales of junk food and sugar-laden fizzy drinks.
In 2018, 73% of U.S. adults were overweight and almost 43% were obese, as measured by body mass index, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; 31% of children age 6 and older are overweight and about 20% are obese, the Kaiser Family Foundation has estimated.
Politicians crashed the economy to ostensibly protect us from the coronavirus … which largely attacks the obese and Type 2 diabetics that, as the data proves, became less healthy with the lockdowns.
And, as we have noted, while the media and politicians sell the COVID vax as the only way to avoid getting the virus, absent is how to get healthy and build ones’ immune system to defeat it.
They have done nothing to defend against a true pandemic of declining health rooted in what is now called the “Standard American Diet” of refined flour, refined sugar, and processed foods that are more noxious than nutritious.
As we have reported in the Trends Journal, not only is the obesity and overweight trend deadly, it’s costly.
The report, “America’s Obesity Crisis: The Health and Economic Impact of Excess Weight,” produced by the Milken Institute, includes data showing that the impact of obesity and overweight on the U.S. economy is more than $1.7 trillion, which equals 9.3% of Gross Domestic Product.
The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development concludes the number of overweight adults reduces GDP by an average of 3.3% globally, with modern economies spending over 8% of total health budgets on obesity issues. The U.S. has the highest rate at 14%.
More than one in three adults in Mexico and New Zealand are very overweight and more than one in four in Australia, Canada, Chile, and Hungary.
The McKinsey Global Institute reports that the economic impact of obesity amounts to $2 trillion annually, which works out to about 2.8% of the global GDP.
AUTHOR COMMENTARY
The mainstream media presstitutes who are paid to put out to their corporate pimps, and “politicks” like Biden, are out parading like that economy is booming because of almost hitting a millions jobs created. First of all, many of these jobs consist of returning workers going back to their old jobs that were squandered by the draconian lockdowns that ALL governors and mayors impose[d]. Hence, this is why hospitality and education saw the most increases.
Moreover, and to be a bit acerbic: you have to be an absolute imbecile with a brain smaller than a corn kernel to believe the government unemployment rates. Give. me. a. break.. So one minute the media pushes this idea that there is this major labor shortage (which there is), but somehow unemployment is down?! But here in the land of the slave and home of the sissy, the government does not count people “unemployed” when benefits run out, the person stops looking, very specific age groups, and so on.
But the data is very clear: we had a huge net loss in just one month. And that’s EVERY month mind you.

And as for the McDonald’s sales, it’s not much of a shocker, but furthers what The WinePress has been reporting on. Just last week The WinePress noted a large increase in sales for Coca-Cola and PepsiCo. Furthermore, it adds to the validity of a report discussing God’s judgment on America by killing the songbirds: they are blinded and LETHARGIC.
Is God Warning America With The Rapid Death Of Songbirds?

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

Well, that will help with the population reduction. Nothing like a good poison meal coupled with a vaccine of death to cull the herd. On a side note, now you know why i is called “Human Resources”; that’s what they think of you.

I haven’t eaten McDonald’s or any other fast food (fast death food) since February of 2020 before the scamdemic hit, and I don’t miss it one bit! That food is poison and fake.
Not to me, they didn’t sell more. Though I do confess to buying two McMuffins and a large oj for an old, scared looking homeless guy by the freeway because it was the only thing near& I had two littles in the car. I knew that he’d been witnessed to many times, & offered jobs in good faith to get himself on his feet…but now he’s old & sick. It was the least I could do & a tract without food is like a slap in the face to those weakening & perhaps nearing repentance.
Then I noticed driving away two very healthy, sturdy looking people, a young couple, with backpacks & two large dogs over the hillside in the weeds watching that old guy. I’d seen them walking from a nearby motel as I drove the short block to McD’s & wondered who they were. Not from around here, & too clean & strong to be the typical indigent, & I realized they were probably living off of that old guy, a Vietnam era vet. I’ve often wondered if he ever got a bite, & was thankful that it was broad daylight with lots of witnesses driving by. I don’t get up that way very often anymore, & I know that the old law enforcement types are becoming overwhelmed by the new hardness….while the public vocational school ‘law enforcement’ youngsters coming in could give a flip. It’s all karma & survivor with them though they mouth religious terminology if & when it suits them.
I remembered back further when I served as secretary to a ‘pastor’ for a couple years, long enough to see the regular pattern of migrants working the system & churches for a voucher as they moved North & then back South….that the guys were saying it was ‘changing out there’, & that ‘they’d kill a guy & steal everything he had in a heartbeat’….’didn’t used to be like that’, they said. Back around 2006-ish.
I knew what they meant because I was a refugee of the gubmint ‘helps’ and welfare programs myself…but the Lord showed me I couldn’t be saved through it, but only from it. Few are willing to trust the Lord in that, & Lord knows I was a mess coming out. When I read Pilgrim’s Progress I remember reading of his stopping his ears and running from the City of Destruction as they clutched at him & tried to drag him back. My fleeing was rather like that, and my salvation came later, just as Pilgrim’s did.
When I worked at the church & counted it a blessing, because I could still homeschool & bring my daughter…..working lots & lots of extra hours to compensate for any thinking her presence meant they weren’t getting their money’s worth….I still couldn’t figure out why the ‘pastor’ didn’t give the guy the Gospel, but just call the ‘pastors’ association’ for a voucher & send the guy on his way to the local motel. I began not to feel safe when just anyone could walk into the building.
It wasn’t like the ‘pastor’ with a philosophy degree was equipped to protect anybody….& he didn’t think it was a good idea to encourage the congregation to independently read the Bible either. I would put such mailings & encouragements on top, & he would throw them in the trashcan telling me that was a ‘bad idea’, & take the ‘how to grow your church’ consulting stuff into his office to peruse. We should have fled then, but these were to my knowledge the most biblical and ‘conservative’ remaining.
Anyways, the Lord opened my eyes through the school of hard knocks because I was foolish, but not so foolish as to forget the change the Lord had affected in my life & to stop praying for wisdom & guidance, protection from evil & deception….or to turn away from the Bible. My husband didn’t want me alone with any of those men though he thought it was the preacher’s job to witness to them….what a mess. I just prayed & had a sort of pentecostal hope that if I did what was right, it would all work out, they’d all get saved & it would be good in the end. I thought they all just needed enough truth to come to their senses & be changed. But there was more than just knowing truth in God’s grace to me & power to salvation, & humanism with its mixture of works & presumption & egoism is subtle, & it comes creeping back in, appealing to our flesh, & we not realizing how the conditioning can still influence us even saved & separated from it with the bits & pieces of Bible they direct folks attention towards to the detriment of other warning, ‘negative’ passages. We’re to be throughly furnished…not hit & miss: 2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
That’s what CFR-crafted & -plotted Purpose Driven & the social justice ‘new’ Babylonianism is all about: either keeping people from entering in at all…trusting in man & man’s systems on the broad way leading to destruction & away from the strait gate; or confounding & ruining witness for those entered in with their fake Bibles, lack of warning & even celebration of select sins, to the merchandizing of the saints, sheep & goats alike. Anyways, the Lord knows & continuing in the word & prayer in personal, individual relationship with the Lord, is the remedy.
I used to go to the Dollar Store & buy a Bible & a sack of imperishable food, write a note in it telling the guy to read the Book beginning with John & Romans, then straight through, & to look to the Lord, not men for help & counsel…..because they’d just mess with his head for vanity & gain while the Lord needs nothing from us & is the Faithful & True……& leave it at the front desk of the motel for them.
