In the wake of Senator Rand Paul’s standoff with Dr. Anthony Fauci yesterday, one Fox News host came to his Fauci’s defense.
Essentially, Paul was implying that the grant money given to the Wuhan laboratory (which is believed by many where the virus was created or spread from) – that Fauci would have known about this.
The two both accused each other of being liars, with Paul interrupting Fauci but Fauci never really giving Paul a direct answer to the questions.
Sen. Paul, you do not know what you are talking about, quite frankly, and I want to say that officially. You do not know what you’re talking about. And if anybody is lying here, Senator, it is you.
Dr. Fauci
One day prior to this scuffle, Fox News host Sean Hannity urged viewers to please get a Covid-19 vaccine, stating that too many people have died and noted fears of the Delta variant. The hours following the Senate scuffle, Hannity gave his commentary on this heated debate, and began the segment by stating “- long time government doctor, who is often wrong, but never in doubt, Anthony ‘Flip-Flop’ Fauci is once again back in the news.”
But there was one Fox News host, however, that did defend Fauci.
Neil Cavuto from the Fox News show “Your World With Neil Cavuto” tried to alleviate some of the pressure and attacks against Fauci.
He has been vilified to the point that you’d think he was Lex Luthor, and I don’t know how productive that is. What might have been missed, and the source of all of this, I get that. But to make him the target of attacks, I think that a lot of this has to go back to his departure from the former president, Donald Trump, at the time. But whatever is behind it, I don’t see it being constructive.
His guest at the time, Dr. Bob Lahita – a frequent medical contributor for Fox News – also came to Fauci’s aid, and said he knows Fauci and is a “prudent individual.”
He’s been the director of the NIAID for years and years and years. I used to work at the NIH reviewing grants, and I remember Dr. Fauci’s guidance. So he’s been around since Moses parted the Red Sea, and he’s a very ethical, prudent individual.
I think it’s unfortunate that we have to attack an individual who has such an important role in our society.
Cavuto responded and said,
All right. Yeah, it’s just odd to me.
But at his core he’s a good man, a good doctor. We all got to just step back, take the chill down.
McConnell Urges More People To Get Vaccinated
In April, The WinePress reported that Senator Mitch McConnell urged other fellow Republicans to get vaccinated. McConnell is once again urging more people to get vaccinated.
According to the AP, McConnell in an official statement, threatened that if more people do not take a vaccine, then a repeat of rapidly rising cases and lockdowns will reoccur.
He told listeners to dismiss the “demonstrably bad advice” coming from pundits and others who reject the Covid vaccines.
If there is anybody out there willing to listen: Get vaccinated.
These shots need to get in everybody’s arms as rapidly as possible or we’re going to be back in a situation in the fall that we don’t yearn for — that we went through last year. This is not complicated.
It never occurred to me [that after the COVID-19 vaccines that were quickly developed for use in the U.S.], we’d have difficulty getting Americans to get the shot.

I am mentioning this report about Fox News again because it is evident that the propaganda is shifting, with more conservative and Republican outlets starting to push harder to get people vaccinated. Now there are people within the network being directed to defend Fauci – after Cavuto can be previously seen challenging Fauci and some of the other Covid narratives.
Additionally, don’t forget this: isn’t it just a “bit” strange that these “trojan horses” in the media and in Washington want to scream on the top of the rooftops about the supposed origins of the virus – as the mainstream narrative has yet to be decided upon officially – these lying Republicans and conservatives are pushing for a vaccine to build immunity for virus that no one seems to know where it came from??
The WinePress reported on this when Fauci and Paul were squaring off previously, and then Paul gets on Fox and tells everyone that the vaccine is the only ticket to freedom and to get your old life back, and stated in March:
- That the only way “we are getting out of this [pandemic]” is to take the vaccine
- Corroborates with the host that getting vaccinated is a great incentive to take off the mask
- Says that those that getting both doses of the vaccine are “safe”
- Says that the vaccine is safe against the variants
- A bit double-tongued on masking but said that the mask is not the answer, “the vaccine is the answer”
- Reports that he says elderly who have been vaccinated have a “twinkle in their eye” because they got their freedoms back and feel safe from the vaccine, and more.
And then this political hack comes out in May and backpaddles on getting the vaccine.
But Fauci and Paul playing “Rock’em Sock’em” with each other is just more of the dog and pony show: it’s more drama for the daily soap opera that is our media, and further divides and confuses the nation.
As noted in our report yesterday about Hannity and Fox News, Fox Corp. instigates a compulsory internal vaccine passport for the company. So all this CRAP that these media maniacs spew out is just lies, lies, and more lies.

And of course, you have triple-chin McConnell telling everyone what to do with their health, and basically saying there WILL be more lockdowns – because, even if America were to reach this mystical 70% vaccine rate, they’d just move the goalposts again as always.
