A week ago Carl Nassib, a defensive end for the Las Vegas Raiders, publicly announced to the world that he is gay, becoming the first active player to come out of the closet, according to Deadline.
Since the announcement, Nassib’s jersey soared to the top of the NFL’s merchandise sales on Fanatics, an online sports store.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell supported Nassib’s plight and stated last week:
The NFL family is proud of Carl courageously sharing his truth today. Representation matters. We share his hope that someday soon statements like his will no longer be newsworthy as we march toward full equality for the LGBTQ+ community.
We wish Carl the best of luck this coming season.
Roger Goodell
In the wake of this announcement, today the National Football League (NFL) posted an official video on social media, that featured plain white text on a black background, which began by stating “Football is Gay” – proceeded by “Lesbian,” “Queer,” “Transgender,” “Freedom,” “For Everyone,” and many other statements.
If you love this game, you are welcome here. Football is for all. Football is for everyone. The NFL stands by the LGBTQ+ community today and every day. For more information on how you can help the @TrevorProject, visit http://thetrevorproject.org
The Hill reports that the NFL is matching Nassib’s donation to The Trevor Project of $100,000.
AUTHOR COMMENTARY
Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
Jude 7
[4] The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. [5] Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.Proverbs 16:4-5
I honestly was never a fan of the NFL even as a young child: college was more my speed, especially growing up so close to the University of Notre Dame. Regardless of such, ever since getting saved, year over year I became more and more disinterested with sports in general, with 2020 being the tip of the spire.
Besides all of that, this move by the NFL represents more judgment and wrath that will be brought upon this nation for its abominations.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

Frankly Jacob and readers, football is as entertaining as a brick! How anyone can sit in such a hypnotized like stupor watching a fast-paced mishmash of charging meatheads knocking each other over and the homo part, patting each other on the butt. How can anyone watch that garbage and not get motion sickness or bored out of their skulls?
The Babel building I used to go to, Laredo First, this pastor Oscar guy, he’s insanely obsessed with football and especially the Dallas cowboys, it’s like he had an oral fixation with saying the word “football,” golden calf idolatry for modern times is all it is. If he gets enough of that tithe money, you can bet he’d have Super Bowl themed “preaching” come February before Valentine’s Day. Hence how church buildings bring in idolatry. If they miss a single game it’d be a fate worse than death. There are unclean spirits with that sport, guaranteed.
A long time ago, same Babel building, there was a couple of hirelings who were betting which team would win and one bet that the cowboys would lose and then he lost the bet and as consequence, he had to dress as a Dallas cowboys cheerleader to give the youth group announcements.
WHAT IN THE WORLD?!?!?!
I told Bryan Denlinger that many moons ago and he was never more disgusted. I don’t blame him.
Any wonder why I was thrown off course and spiritually back slidden and struggling with sin? Babel buildings are traps!
That’s disgusting. Some pastor alright…
Yeah, and he was a youth group “pastor” and when it came to take up tithes he’d play a bit of the song For The Love Of Money by the O’Jays (Money money money MONEY) how fitting! Typical phony wannabe cool guy pastor.
We have enough cool guys, I’ve had enough cool guys, I need a shepherd like you and Bryan as well as others to help me get rid of my sin struggles and get me on the King James Bible believing path and more!
Can I write you letters, Jacob?
I was never into sports, so even before I was saved, I used to joke when people would ask me about “the game”. I would say, I am not gay. This would throw them off. Then I would state:
– Why would a straight male want to watch a bunch of men play with balls?
– Pat each other on the butt
– Don’t they have a position called “Tight End”?
I guess it’s no longer a joke.
