“I don’t force anyone to pay, I give them the freedom of choice, which seems to be a foreign concept in these parts of the country.”

The following report is from NBC 10 News:

Diners are mostly free to speak their mind at a Northern California cafe, but doing so through the protective confines of a mask will cost a cover charge of $5.

Fiddlehead’s Café in Mendocino on Sunday put up a sign announcing the fee for customers who wear masks while ordering, according to NBC News reporting. In March, the café announced an ongoing 50% discount for those who throw their face coverings in the trash, said owner Chris Castleman, 34.

I don’t think $5 to charity is too much to ask from mask wearing customers who claim to care so much about the community they live in.

Proceeds will go to Project Sanctuary, a local domestic abuse organization, for two weeks before a new nonprofit enters the rotation, Castleman said. (Project Sanctuary did not immediately respond to a request for comment).

It’s about time that the proponents of these ineffective government measures start paying for the collateral damage they have collectively caused.

The restaurant also planned to charge an additional $5 fee to those “caught bragging” about being vaccinated, according to a couple of the posted signs.

I don’t force anyone to pay, I give them the freedom of choice, which seems to be a foreign concept in these parts of the country.

Castleman said in a phone interview

In June 2020, Castleman temporarily closed the cafe 200 miles northwest of Sacramento after Mendocino County officials warned that masks weren’t optional at restaurants during the pandemic.

The government shut everything down. Everyone wearing a mask is complicit.

He abided by temporary mandates requiring curbside service only, but requiring masks for servers and other workers, he’s argued, is too much.

I don’t believe in mask wearing. Our customer base has been strongly aligned with our beliefs, but I think some are really angry at our café.

It’s their choice, they can choose what business they support. They can go to any other business in my county, state.

A Psalm of David. Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.

Definitely an effective way to discourage the zombies from infecting another business with their mask and vaccine “plaguery.”

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • Governor Cuomo just announced that if New York has at least 70% of adults receiving at least 1 dose, many restrictions will be lifted, however the unvaccinated/under vaccinated (not fully vaccinated) will still have the “obligation” to wear masks and social distance. I know that I am refusing this vaccine. I am not going to fall for the vaccine propaganda neither.

  • I call this a glimmer of hope. Better yet: it’s slap dab in the middle of Commie-fornia, so that’s a sign that even those residents are starting to fight back!
Granted, ALL of America, even the Bible Belt is no exception; but California and the rest of the west coast is the worst of the worst!
