This shoe release is on the heels of the famous rapper’s release of a music video for the song MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name) – what some are referring to as controversial, as the video contains implied biblical references and some very lascivious actions: such as the rapper descending down into hell via a stripping pole dressed as a harlot, and performed sexual favors for Satan on his throne.

YouTube algorithms and selective cherry-picking are how a video reaches the trending page. Under no circumstances should you watch the video. I did, and I regret it. I cannot repeat many of the things depicted in this video.
According to the streetwear culture and news account, Saint, they contain “60cc ink and 1 drop of human blood.”
Each pair costs $1,018 and only a limited number over 666 pairs have been created.
According to a report last year from Business Insider, the rapper has partnered with MSCHF – a company that specializes in “structure chaos” and creates “creating some of the most absurd, cynical, and viral projects and products that have spread across the internet.”
Each pair is individually numbered on the shoe. Covering the laces overlays an inverted pentagram. The box has depictions of bodies being tortured in hell by devils. The MSCHF name can be seen on the back of the shoes.
The sides of the shoes and in the box have Luke 10:18 written there.

The day of the song’s release, the rapper tweeted a letter to his former 14 year-old self.
Dear 14 year old Montero (the rapper’s real name),
I a song with our name in it. It’s about a guy I met last summer. I know we promised to never come out publicly, I know we promised to never be ‘that’ type of gay person, I know we promised to die with the secret. But this will open doors for many other queer people to simply exist. You see this is very scary for me, people will be angry, they will say I’m pushing an agenda. But the truth is, I am. This sicko has literally confirmed (yet again) why sodomy is such an abomination in God’s sight. Beyond committing fornication and dishonoring your body, self-sterilization, and the spread of disease, it confirms that sodomy is linked to Satanism and occultism. If you have ever seen pictures of these LGTBQ+ pride rallies (I am not going to put any screen), then you will notice a habitual reoccurrence of sodomites dressed like popular depictions of Satan from Hollywood and hoisting up signs of how much they adore Satan, and how they think hell will be ‘fabulous.’
And yet this is the trash that the world loves. For this to be trending #1 tells the story. And God is supposed to bless this nation?? We have vile bunglers right now who call themselves “Christian,” and have convinced themselves that God is blessing this nation and we can restore it to its former glory. Allow me to make myself very clear here: if you believe that, I seriously doubt you are SAVED, and frankly, are one of the reasons this country continually gets worse.
I’d also like to know (not really) whose blood is put in these shoes? Or is that just a marketing stunt to be “cool?”
