The Covid hysteria continually grows.

Videos have been surfacing of what some New York diners, cafes, and eateries are resorting to in order to earn a profit.

In this short clip, customers can be seen eating in inflatable bubbles and tents, and shacks and sheds to eat in.

Governor Andrew Cuomo has made it illegal to host and serve indoor dining. So the restaurants, cafes, bars, and other establishments that have been crushed by the government oppression, are now forced to even more insanity – forced to spend even more money to set up these temporary setups. Forcing customers to eat outside in the winter is a guaranteed way to kill business.

But New York City is not the only place doing this. There are companies that have capitalized on this oppression and are setting a new trend in cities across America.

Now restaurants are adopting “igloo eateries.” Guests now eat under an enclosed igloo that insulates heat.

Reports show that some restaurants were beginning to do this prior Covid-19, but the hysteria has accelerated this trend, believing it has the potential to stop the spread of viruses a little easier.

Here is what one website says:

In the Fall and Winter, Lock 50’s outdoor patio is transformed by adding Patio Igloos used to shield customers from all sorts of undesirable weather. The transparent, cold-resistant structures are heated and will help keep the cold out and the warmth in. These unique dining options allow guests to enjoy the patio for drinks or full menu service throughout the Fall and Winter.

Dinner in our Patio Igloos

Please note due to COVID Guidelines, we will take Dinner reservations at 5:00pm and 7:30pm. This will allow each party to enjoy the igloos for a 90 minute max and give us time to clean and sanitize effectively. Each igloo has only one table and can seat up to 6 people from the same party. For a reservation please call (508) 379-3400. We charge a $50 per hour rental fee with all reservations, and the first hour is charged as a non-refundable deposit. When a reservation is taken a $50 non-refundable credit card deposit will be required.
